$1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Hi

do you guys make plays like this occasionally? i have been ultra tight from early position. i know that everyone is going to say never play this hand for fear of being oversetted, and what type of flop are u looking to hit ur fl is no good, and it's trash yada yada. but i haven't stepped out of line or shown anything less than a premium hand from EP. villain is a tag(whom i have alot of history with) who has a tendency to overplay/value any type of aces. he has a very very narrow 3 bet range. and he has aces here without a doubt. if he has kings obv i'm hosed but he doesn't 3 bet his kings, he will always call w/ them. even if he has the nut fl draw too im still way ahead. it seems like all the answers are to play right and tight w/o a lot of creativity, so is this another bad play against someone i know who is virtually playing face up?

Stacks:
Hero ($102.80)
UTG+1 ($182.00)
CO ($200.00)
BTN ($263.40)
SB ($500.40)
BB ($200.00)

Pre-flop: ($3, 6 players) Hero is UTG 5 2 2 4
Hero raises to $7, 1 fold, CO raises to $24, 3 folds, Hero calls $17

Flop: 8 2 K ($51, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $40, Hero goes all-in $78.80

Only time you could even consider opening this is in the late stages of a tourney where you have a 5:1 chip lead or better and everyone's on scared money. Otherwise it's terrible. I'd fold to the 3-bet too, but calling the 3-bet is nowhere near as bad as the open.

You are grossly overestimating your opponent's abilities to noticed that you show premium hands from ep. Premium hands in plo is also very subjective. If u want to call this 3 bet you might want to be a little deeper- also never fold on this flop in a 3 bet pot like evar.

Dude,

I notice that you keep posting these type of hands. I don't know if you're seeking validation for a play that came off well, if you genuinely want to understand if these are good or not or if you just want to show off. Whatever your reasons you are never going to get helpful or positive comments on plays which are based on level thinking over good strategy.

The types of hands you should be posting are situations that come up often, that way you can fix leaks or help others with a similar leak that over time can cost a lot of money. Posting hands that come up once in a blue moon is a mostly useless activity.

there are three four types of hands:

1. good hand, good position
2. good hand, bad postion
3. bad hand, good postion
4. bad hand, bad position

avoid to play nr 4.
