Ignition - $0.05 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 97 BB
Hero (BB): 179.6 BB
BTN: 143.2 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has A A 5 8

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) BTN has T K T 4

BTN raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2.6 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB, BTN calls 9 BB, SB calls 9 BB

Flop: (36 BB, 3 players) A J 4
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: (36 BB, 3 players) Q
SB checks, Hero bets 25.6 BB, BTN raises to 111 BB, fold, Hero raises to 167.6 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 20.2 BB and is all-in

River: (298.4 BB, 2 players) 6

On the flop: I checked because there's no flush draw, and I lock up the board with AA.

On the turn: How should I play now that Q comes? Is it strong enough to bet? When he raises, am I getting the right odds to call? I had 20% equity against his specific hand (nut straight + flush draw).

Only reason i check flop is if BTN is super maniac who bets a lot vs check, otherwise just always cbet. Standard if they fold, but we want to build a pot incase someone has something.
Also its a flop we stab a lot when we 3bet and have a marginal hand/air, so expect some looser calls sometimes too.

Bet turn is standard, but if you think he has only KT then we cant go broke vs raise. We have 23% against all KT combos, we need 35% to get it in.
If have specific info/notes/seen loose stack offs postflop vs big fish its fine.

A big conceptual mistake on the flop. You should not be checking nuts on a board where they are expecting you to bet often! 3-bettor is the player who can have AA on that board and he should take advantage of that, no matter if he has AA or not.

This 100%. Also, in PLO, you never really have a flopped 'locked up' like you would in NLHE, especially when you have 2 broadway cards otf. Expect button (pf raiser/3bet caller) to have a lot of KQ10X type of holdings here, which you want to make pay as much as you can.

Better to check some stronger aces and bet these without backup also
