Hello 2p2 community,

Grazvydas here, or Grazvis1 (PS)

You guys probably have seen me in the PLO lobbies, playing 5k-20k stakes, but let me briefly introduce myself still:

I am 28y years old, and have been playing online poker since I was ~19y. I moved up to 5k PLO around 7 years ago, and had stable success at those stakes ever since.

I still enjoy playing poker, and every aspect of the game, I think I will keep going for a while still.

I have always had friends to talk poker hands with, and talk poker related things, I find it pretty rewarding.

So I figured, I would like to post a thread here, for people to be able to reach out for coaching/collaboration.

I would describe my communication/thought process style as: information seeking, and trying to create a feedback loop, curiosity. I like to put myself into situations for high quality inputs/outputs, so it’s rewarding for all parties.

I would like to find people that are trying to make a career of this “playing poker” thing, and who are here for a while, so if you think you would enjoy this occupation for next 5-10 years, then we are probably on same time frame (I am just narrowing it down to the mindset I am looking for, not that the coaching would commit to 5 year period)

In my mind, the ideal candidates would be young people that have aptitude for studying the game, and that are currently playing 200-600 PLO, so hopefully we could work our way to 5k stakes.

But if you feel like you are a right candidate even if you aren’t quite into the above thresholds, don’t hesitate to reach out, I am happy to chat.

I would be looking to make a CFP (coach for profits) deal, as I think that aligns the incentives better, and that incentivizes the coach to improve the student’s game as much as possible, instead of hourly that just incentivized the coach to sell as many hours as possible.

If you are interested in writing a DM, could you please include:

(1) The results for the past year
(2) Brief personal background (age, study, sports? Interest? Anything you could think of that’s interesting here)
(3) What are your goals?
(4) What do you think has been holding you back? What is required for you to reach your goals?
(5) Could you please share alternative ways for reach out, like Skype/Discord/Telegram/email. I am not sure how smooth the 2p2 DMs are.

Regards,

Grazvydas

I messaged you my info. This would be a great opportunity. I spent a bit of time as quite the fish firing high stakes(started poker with a roll from a business I sold) which has set me up to being able to get in pretty much any game which i can now take advantage of as I'm not a total donk anymore.

Hey The Standard Station,

I have tried to dm you, but somehow the message doesn't seem to get through. Well I just wanted to let you know that you DM is well received.

I am still gathering my thoughts what exactly I should do here and how to approach things. I don't have the telegram yet, but I will create it in next 1-2 weeks, and even if we don't make any "official CFP" deal I am more than happy to have your contact and chat about poker related things. Just wanted to let you know that your message(s) is well received.

Hello Grazvydas,

If you are still looking for students, I might be very much interested.

For some reason I don't seem to be able to send PMs here.
Would you mind contact me on discord, my nickname is perwhite, so that I can write more details there.

Thank you,

Hello,
Big fan of you I’ve been following you for quite a while now and have looked up to your game a lot.
1) I’ve been playing PLO 4 cards professionally for the past 2 years. I have a collection of around 400k hands winning at 6bb (+150k); however; I lost a lot of my roll playing 10/20, could never beat that stake every time I shot took it. I restarted my mistakes grind after my computer broke and only have a collection of 130k ish hands right now up around 40k in this sample.
2) poker is my life. I studied as a mechanical engineer with a major in fluids. I’ve been playing PLO since I was 19 ( sophomore in college). I’m now 24. I’ve always been a very intuitive player and I’d say I’m quite good theoretically through drilling and the 4 years of experience I have. I wouldn’t be doing this for the money but more because my goals are to eventually play the highest stakes and with your mentorship I truly believe I’d be able to get there. Right now I play every stake up to 1k on Bovada and BOL. I’ve always struggled with ACR because of
Bomb pots and even ante games I think those formats I’m unfamiliar with but regular 100bb PLO is my strongest game. I’d like to say I’m good at deep stack too because I’m intuitive but it’s not a game I’ve ever studied, but I’ve had no problems playing deep through my career.
3) my goal is to play PLO professionally at the highest stakes. I love the game and love the competition and would like to be one of the best. I obviously want to make a lot of money out of this as well because I sacrificed a lot (grades in school/ potential future career with a good degree) for poker.
4) I think what’s holding me back is an overestimation of how people play and maybe being too passive when I shot take because I’m scared of how big the pots get, so ultimately BRM. This has only happened at 2k where I would play different ( even though when I took the shot I had around 60 buy ins to my name). I’d like to think I’m not passive but when the money gets too big I may shy away from spots I would otherwise take at lower stakes. I also had a lot to prove to my family, so I traveled and went to EPT Barcelona to prove I was a good poker player but ended up losing a lot there as well. And lastly my biggest problem is that I’ve been on this journey alone. I have no poker PLO friends irl or online. The only way I’ve improved is by myself. I think with guidance id strive.
5) my discord is Portemilio. Here in the invite link to add me where I can show you my results:
