Check raised on the flop, give up? Check raised on the flop, give up?

Hello all,

UTG opens, MP calls, Hero reraises pot holding AA33ds. UTG and blinds fold, MP cold calls.

Flop comes somewhat wet T74, with two clubs (not our suit), but the other card giving some backdoor NFD.

MP checks, hero bets half pot and then MP reraises, basically putting Hero all in. I folded but I wonder what to do differently? Thanks for any input.

I use small and very large sizings here. Probably betting small with this combo because we have some playability on the turn (spade/A/3 maybe offsuit 2). Less playability means potting to deny equity. Some folds are fine as are some gii that don't have the board completely locked down (e.g., AQcJcJ).

Need to be asking whether this opponent has leads here. He should but if no then I pull back on big sizing, primarily betting small and checking more frequently than when yes but checked. Still feel like small is good for this combo in either case.

Your hand is probably good enough to pot and get it in, but Munga brings up valid points for small sizing.

Would prefer to check this flop back - we have decent backdoor equity and b/f sucks
