Preflop may already be a fold but since it was not a pot sized open, I decided to call. OTF I dont think I can check raise since I likely wont be in great shaoe when the money goes in even though I block top set , same goes for turn. WHen the flushdraw bricks OTR and villain bets big I couldnt find a fold since it felt he would like to get me to fold my missed draws

looks good, maybe we can fold the river since he will have 56 a lot. this type of hand, where you have bottom set and a pair blocker, makes a great call down candidate. you want to have some really strong hands in your c/c range lest your opponents barrel too frequently on brick runouts.

I'm ok with call turn and river, we have excellent bluffcatcher, and villain can value bet worse, such as kings up.

I'd like check raising flop. Might have to fold to 3 bet.

Now calldown seems standard though in these games they usually hit the river when they pot the river so can see a fold.

I can't imagine folding to the 3! on the flop with a queen and zero A, 2, 5, 6, 7, or club.

Well thats correct we block set and unblock flushes.

Though I also don't see villains moving in here with draws in such an empty pot only the hands like AcAx5c6x might do that and we are level against that.

You’re supposed to be wider pre against a button open but c’mon man.... That’s a clear fold pre and it’s not even close. You flop one of the very best flops with your bottom 10% hand and get scared? And you don’t even explain what kind of player this is... This guy was Probably just pushing you off your equity if he knows you call these hands and don’t raise without the nuts.. :/

I’m probably calling pre because you are getting the odds. 1.5BB to win 4BB. I’m calling turn and river. Basically playing it the way you did. If I had a BDFD or wasn’t already blocking one of your outs (Q) I would probably ck raise the flop.

I think GTO this is a call pre. I was just looking at a preflop sheet from the plo mastermind.

I would just make a note on opponents bet sizing on flop, turn and river and see if he bets differently with weaker hands.

Meh plo preflopper says 70/30 fold/call pre..

Given we don’t have that much info I’m leaning towards folding the turn.. the 7 is a good card for your range imo and he still bets the turn pretty big.. villain could easy turn a straight here or can have a higher set.

Fwiw I’m folding pre.. There’s so many hand combos that I just think this is we one we like only ever play if it’s limped to us on the big blind..

I'm folding this hand pre as well for the sole reason that I'm not very good playing the flop oop.
