I'm not raising. Facing a bet and a call and 100% preflop ranges I just don't see much point in it.

Yeah, not sure why you'd raise when you can get a naked blocker or whatever they have to jam on a brick.

Yeah in hindsight calling is best..gameflow at the time though both of those villains had got it in light before, one had bottom 2 and low flush draw vs top 2 and nfd and other had set on 4 straight (turned set) no straight blockers. So I guess I just assumed that they would GII with sets, 2prs and smaller flushes without hesitation. So I was thinking better get max value and take the risk of running into the nuts but now I see that calling is much better. Not only can we get double barrels from nut blockers, but also sets, turned straights, smaller flushes that pickup 2 pair, etc.

A thing to consider is that if you think they will get it in with sets, then it's better to get it on a brick turn and fold on a pairing one.

Is this a form of Omaha where there's only antes and no-preflop action? Everybody gets to see the flop?

idk. most bomb pots that i play are pretty tight on flush boards alot of people will throw away non nut flushes and against flushes trips have 37 percent so if he thinks taht he has 50 percent fold equity he is breaking even. now when he gets one call and a raise and its folded back to him he should flat so the co calls again but even if he didnt his price was right to call or jam at that point.

that being said it depends on the table but this can be an effective strategy. he should be gettign a ton of folds and even when he doesnt the price just about right to get it in vs a raise. only person he would be willing to do this against it the other deep stacks. but against you and the co the price is right for sure for the call.

you on the other hand have absolutely no outs against a hand that beats you of which there are many.

i dont really love either play yours or his but his might make a little more sense as a bluff. for sure i wouldnt consider his move value,

but your move i wouldnt consider value either. the nuts are out there alot in those bomb pots as im sure you know if you jam that hand every time in that situation. because when your right you still lose 37 percent of the time and when your wrong you lose every run. i dont think thats to smart man.

yes. every 15 mins or so i think. the button goes to a random seat, everyone puts in 5bb, and there is no preflop action.
