2/5 (.5) plo, high rake private game online

Splashy Player 1 ($673) limps early
Splashy Player 2 ($3583) limps early
Hero ($1842) opens CO to 32 JcTd9c9h
Splashy Player 3 ($340) flats sb
Unknown Player 4 ($2659) flats bb
Splashy Player 1 l/rr to 169
splashy player 2 fold
Hero calls
Splashy Player 3 flat/jams for 340
Unknown Player 4 flat/re-pots to 1371
Splashy player 1 calls off rest of his 673

Hero has ~1200 to call and ~500 more behind with unknown player. There is disagreement in hand review group with both sides saying "easy decision".

Players 1 and 3 are very large losers in this game. Have not seen player 4 prior to today. Nothing has stuck out about his play thus far.

I'm a microstakes player and haven't played live at all but with UTG and MP limping, shouldn't JT99 ss be a fold?

fold, you are not invested enough against player 4 to call.

I also would not open with this hand preflop, just limp along. Ideally you want a single raised pot but by raising yourself with short stacks you get into too many of bad spots pre

it is only opening if you are the first person to choose to put money in the pot.

Yes, that is the detail worth splitting hairs on here.

couple things stick out. i feel like your hand and sizing isn't planned, though i'm a fan of larger sizing in general.

you have a lag in the sb and two lags limping ahead, and you open up the action to them - so you should be prepared ahead of time for a limp wrap.

also, you know there's a lag who has 40 in and 300 behind in a 5way pot with two players already in for 169, so you should forsee his jam AND more than likely the original limp/wrapper's re-jam. this one is close with the sb opening the action with a raise of 139 (vs the wrap of 137). regardless aim to be aware of these dynamics.

most important you have no info on bb who puts in 200 bb. as played i light my cards on fire along with my 169.

the call of 3-bet is bad. like lighting money on fire bad, everything else in hand is irrelevant bad

rejam his 3-bet or fold. what's your plan once you call other than flop a gin? you have a **** hand and he's shipping every flop into you with 2 players behind
