Bad hero call river? Bad hero call river?

This is a live game. SB is a very good aggressive pro, who was also losing a lot at that point and was looking tilted. Opinions on the hand?

I might check the flop? We have ace of hearts but our hand has enough showdown value I don't see the point turning our hand into a bluff otf. I think calling turn/river is good.

I didn't think of checking the flop, maybe you have a good point. But also on the other hand, I got the perfect hand to bet flop and deny any kind of deny they have isn't it?
Also because I have a pair(AA) in my hand, my hand has less playability after checking.(less two pair outs etc).

with holding the Ah I just dont know what what we are beating getting lead to in both the turn and river.

Any random 2 on the turn beats us even if villian is spewy and likes to bet flushes on paired boards gets us. Only bluffs i see are missed wraps but theres already flush on the flop.

don't mind the flop bet. Turn depending on player type ill call and evaluate river but on the river with that runout folding.

I feel like we probably can still have reasonable fold equity if the turn is like a 9 or whatever bringing in some two pairs. If it's reasonably disconnected I'd rather just try and navigate to showdown.

Villain is limp calling and calling flop.

To me would be strange line to start bluffing on the turn after we show strength twice.

Just check the flop, you are gonna get played back at since youre probably gonna check youre ace high flush draws a decent percent of the time. You do have the Ah so they cant, but you have just aces, so in a vacuum a check is probably better for your range.

As played fold the turn, but if you were to check the flop id call the turn.

betting flop small is fine i think for protection. turn I'm just gonna fold

I am folding the river. Usually when an opponent bets into you twice you are losing,

without the reads i would fold, and they would have to be strong.

otf with the blocker and when u actually have it i think runway's clear to pot.

edit: wow so many of the replies boggle me. i think a handful of smaller flushes played by live players aren't going anywhere facing the flop cb, not to mention sets, which should incline us to size up, way up.

If the guys tilted hes gonna call with a lot wider range all the way down tbh. Our range is pretty capped to nuts or nothing, which makes call downs very black and white, especially if hes tilty. Hes either gonna call Qh flush, probably fold anything else on a non paired board if he ISNT tilted. Plus the board pairs 17% of the time, all these things combined with betting into two players, one of them is gonna have at least a 10 high flush or two pair probably 25% of the time.

Getting two folds here means you were probably ahead anyway, but getting value here isnt really the point IG. Ace high nfd bluff with a less tilted villain seems less attractive, for that reason I dont even think the check raise here that probably would be the best balanced play for our range is good enough for that.

EDIT: I thought this went without saying but definitely just fold the river lmao.

Why does everybody want to fold river? Yall some nits fr. He can have some double paired 55 and some KK which is why we want a king in our hand right?

I mean, what bluffs is he going to have

I assume he's turning most or all of his weak Kx into a bluff ott.
