Keep doing this Hu, I tell myself to slow the game down and think about each play more, but usually villain is auto piloting himself, and after even taking a few seconds at times to slow it down, villain will type something in that chat insisting he wants to play faster otherwise he leaves. I don't play slow, in fact I auto pilot 90% of the time, but wanted to change this part of my game and wondered what others go about it?

depends on your villain and on your stakes. if you are a plo50 player, probably not as much of a problem than playing hu 200+

why do you think that? I would have though more traffic at 50 while less at 200 so players at 200+ would still play if game slow

exactly this, but since you get less action at 200+ and playing someone you want to continue with, maybe try to force it a lil bit so that he stays.
at 50 on the other hand, well, shouldnt be too tough to find another game anyways.

most decisions do take a small amount of time to find the solution regardless of what game it is. this is why it's important to get a defined cognitive system which processes the decision with a conclusion, it comes when it comes, and when it doesn't you hit the time bank, if it still doesn't come then you are probably better of folding anyway - but still keeping a smooth game flowing, if someone is getting irritated by you taking 5 seconds to play then they are probably a fish on a tilt level- when its too slow add tables imo. I think the part on finger tilt in de angelo's book talks about it.

Also be wary of your timing tells, by forcing you opponent to play fast you know when they actually start thinking, or have changed the way they are thinking, because the response time increases.

as a somewhat hu fish the only thing I can say to this is: PLAY FASTER FFS . and double the stakes if I want to. Otherwise I leave. you have the edge, so give me at least a match under conditions I like to play.
Otherwise IŽll sit the next 20 bums till somebody plays me.

I do a "table recap" to evaluate how my opponent is playing and develop a counter strategy. Do it every 20 hands or so.

^smart idea. Can you give me an example of your thought process on your counter strategies? I'm trying hard to get out of the standard TAG play
