i want to recommend this website to everyone. i subscribed to their weekly newsletter almost 2 years ago. from their articles and newsletter i've gathered relevant points and implemented them in my own life and habits. i feel that my life quality has improved after starting to read about "everyday mindfulness" which something zen habits focuses on. not all the articles are useful, some of them are pure gold.

another great site from the same author is http://mnmlist.com/ about minimalism. one of the articles suggested to get rid of 20% of everything you own (i.e. clutter)...this was quite a eye-opening experience when i did it.

Well, I'm currently at 3-4x/week. My wife's hassling me since I said I'd cut down. Going from 4-5 to 3-4 isn't enough apparently.

It's mostly while I'm playing so ~2 hours. I'm primarily a Starbuzz guy. Seems like everyone and their mother is SB - Tangerine and it's kind of a cliche flavor, but I like it. I tried their Blue Mist recently and liked it a lot (and I'm not usually a fan of flavors with mint in them). I'm not sure I've had a bad Starbuzz flavor.

I've been a hookah-er for awhile, but I'm not super-hardcore about hoses/bowls/coals. I'm on my 3rd hookah (Mya QT, IIRC), have a couple standard bowls and a vortex (good concept, meh execution), and mostly use quicklights, but have recently tried some natural coals that I got on sale (my take - too much of a PITA to light to make them > quicklights).

good times. i only do after my sessions, just sit on the balcony and enjoy the shisha with turkish tee / coffee. really relaxing.

i think the coal makes a difference. planning to use natural coal instead of these quicklights. had some really nice smoking sessions in UAE, they know their shishas.
