Hi all,

There is a blind $15 utg and hero has AhKcKdJcJs and raises to $50 in SB, two callers (BB and blind utg raiser). BB is short and hero and utg are $750 eff. Utg can be action V but not terrible postflop. Hero has tight image.

Flop ($150): Kh-Qh-7h. We have nut flush blocker and top set and a meaningless gutterball. Hero $100, BB jams $135, utg flats, hero tries to re-jam (didn't realize how short BB was), we call.

Turn ($540): 3d. Hero suspects utg has a worse set and BB jammed with a flush because when hero tried to re-jam utg said "nice try," indicating he did not want the action re-opened, so hero $290, utg calls.

River ($1,120): 2s. Hero jams last $300.

Thanks,
DT

I think sizings seem weird everywhere post.

Even if BB isn't so short, I'm don't think we want to bet this big. We have 700 and a 150 pot so even HU 50/150/500 gets us there and 50/250/400 is kind of what you were going for but doesn't look as weird. This board is pretty dry, because as you said straights are almost worthless and everyone needs a flush or a set to continue.
It also helps that with this size when BB raises we can shove.

Not sure about river, does villain sigh and call 300 off with bare QQ or are we bare Ah bluffing him off bad flushes that also have QQ? Much prefer 50/150/500 for the later.

I think it's fine, although I might just pot turn so he can't fold on a blank river.
