If you start bluffing, you have to start on Turn.
A bet on the river would not be representing much. Vilain might call very light
Yeh I'd check this back on the river. The turn is interesting - could you get nut flushes to fold the river if you went bet bet? If that's the case then definitely bet the turn - if people are more sticky with bigger flushes than play it more like you did.
We could maybe use a smaller sizing to try and fold out smaller flushes and straights but villain range is fairly well protected and we have enough showdown value not to bet. Villain could also bluff-raise us off winner or chops sometimes.

I agree with this. No reason to bet now, but you have to raise this flop imo.
I actually prefer keeping the pot small on the flop. Aside from not having all our kickers above the five, our 6 and 7 could easily become obsolete on a high card turn.
River is clear check, bluffing would be a big mistake.
