Hi all,

5/5/15, we are 6-handed and we open AKT32ds nut hearts utg and get four Vs. It's been a slow session and we open it up a little.

Flop ($250): 622hh. Tighter player bets from sb $175, we flat next, another player flats, and a short stak jams for $575, sb snap folds and it's on us with one behind. We are $1500 eff. with the other V.

66/62/2x all in range. Against that (all 2x and equal weights to entire range), we have 45%. We also have the deeper V behind us. If sb had a 2 it's just 66 here for value and we're dead.

Thanks,
DT

I call.

Not an easy spot but with no read on villain(s) in a seemingly loose game Hero's hand is too strong to fold and has no reason to raise.

I would sometimes be able to get away from one final big bet if villain seemingly has only 66.

One cause for concern is sb's bet/fold - if he is a tight player like described his range should look something like aa/kk/qq:hh, 2x. We can also add a small number of more speculative combos, including 6x hands.

This makes remaining villain's ranges for overcall and jamming stronger, so if Hero calls it should be because he suspects that at least one of overcaller or short-stack is taking a speculative line often. If not the decision may lean towards a rather tight fold instead.

Something small worth noting is that even if short-stack has 66 Hero may win a decent sidepot vs other villain if he does continue on with a speculative hand or the other 2x.

Obviously I want to call, but I think we can fold easy because the guy who called after you did has 66 like a ****ing ton.
