GGPoker Rush 1/2 (100bb effective)
UTG+1 Opens, Button calls, we are in the big blind with A A 8 6 and 3bet to 14.5. Fold and Call

Button is a reg and likely a decent winner.

Flop (33bb): K J 5
Bet 33, raise 85.5 (hero would be all in)... ?

I don't think potting is effective as you're not balanced and he gets to play perfectly if he has half a brain. You're basically telling him you have AA/AK/bare QT - think betting 15-20 is more suitable. As played just call it off - you'll lose a fair amount but you got the odds.

How am I not balanced? You need to elaborate on that point as what range are you betting 15-20 with that I'm not betting pot with?

No, those are in bb units… so I bet pot and he raised pot.

Thinking about it as BB hu vs Btn we should just bet range 1/2 pot and fold to a raise with our hand. Not sure how UTG+1 opening and Btn cc changes things. Btn cc is stronger than their rfi range so I guess we check this flop a decent amount? If so this seems like a decent c/c. As played we can never fold any AA after potting.

I don’t mind near pot and GII, but I expect to be just straight flipping a lot vs pair+ broadway draws or dead to sets.

I prefer like 55% so I can fold to nit jams and it disguises our hand a little. As mentioned I feel like 3bet Insta pot flop is often AA, so QJ97 can just rip knowing they arnt crushed. 55% they have to at least consider we are trapping with KK.

Button is kind of repping a rundown tbh, he just flats on the button and then comes along for the 3, so I doubt he has KK much, decent regs should be folding crap JJ to the 3.

I see regs do whack **** though, like he could turn up here with a hand we have crushed like AJTx.

As played easy call with half our stack in.

You bet/fold here? You're potting here with KK/JJ?

I would check the flop. Button double defender is rich in Broadway cards, imo. Vs a co open would be better but maybe not best. If I did bet here at spr 3 I doubt it would be pot sized.

We have just launched FlopHero, it's a new tool based on our custom solver, that displays all solutions in a very visual way using a Matrix for your whole range or specific combos.

I checked your hand and found an error before the decision to call the raise or not.

On the flop you shouldn't bet with your hand on that board, it's a check with a good portion of all AAxx but your combo doesn't have any backdoor or block any of the board cards. Villain is a decent reg so you should tight a bit.

As played, the EV of calling that raise Allin is barely break-even even though the solver says is a call GTO-wise

You can check it yourself
