Ability to fold KK pre in PLO. Ability to fold KK pre in PLO.

I'm donking around micros occasionally and I am constantly running KK into AA pre. From all the hands I've watched railing big games, the good players never seem to fold it. If it seems like a fairly obvious fold if someone 3b's ur utg raise or or 4 bets all in. Should I be only callling if double suited or w/ good kickers? Thanks.

Completely player dependant. When playing smallstakes, playing KKxx loses value in 3bet pots because most "donks" are only 3betting AAx and very strong hands imo. When playing higher people play much more aggressively and their raising and 3betting ranges widen up.

Stacking off with less than premium KKxx hands is almost always horrible at micro PLO. KK vs. AA is soo common that unless your hand is something like KKQJds it's not strong at all. In fact, hands like KK25 no suit are garbage and can be folded preflop, especially OOP.

I think it's correct to say that's at those microstakes it's common that player 3/4bet with AAxx hands. However it can also be villain dependant, because on those stakes there are also spewtards that overvalue QQxx. Don't be afraid to get it in against them imo.

Its ok to 3 bet....but once you get 4 bet you can def. put microstake players with AAxx

They're probably playing pretty shortstacked. KKxx gains value as stack sizes drop.

You have to have a decent read. I folded KK times when I was certain I was against AA. It gets tougher if double suited or I have great side cards. Trust your read against the opponent. You pretty much have to shut down if an ace hits or if they play back with a Q,J or T on board as I have seen a lot of people call a raise trying to spike a set with those cards. Naked Kings is really a small hand and small hands need small pots.

Some micro players will also four-bet big and med run down hands as they are the most likely to crack aces, especially if they can get it all in.

How about dumping weak KK from early position in six max at a laggy table? I'm so used to raising first in that I see this as a raise/fold situation and if the KK is weak I've taken to dumping them at laggy tables. Leak?

If you have KK72r or something in early position there's absolutely nothing wrong with folding it, it's probably the right play even at high stakes

1) know ur players

2) pay attention to ur sidecards

3) default read should be that villain's 3bet = aces

You should definitely not be seeing this as raise or fold imo. At loose passive tables these sorts of hands are great to limp in with from ep. I think dumping the junky big pairs at aggro tables is a good play.
