Hero with AAxx, let's put V at around 40 VPIP and doesn't like to ft3b
UTG open, UTG +1 (V) call, Hero BB pot, UTG fold, V calls, SPR ~ 2.2
Hero with AAT7 2 diamonds
Flop: 3s 6s 8d (equivalent flop would be 4 7 T)
Flop is okayish for Hero, better for V?
Hero check, V check - Hero want to control the pot, betting and getting raised would be awful when Hero has bdfd.
Turn: Qd
Hero bets 3/4, V pot AI, Hero calls
Also, The SPR is kinda awkward, what should we do with Aces (nfd OR nfd blocker + other blocker) here? My plan is to 3/4 pot -> GIT.
I discount nfd more and check when SPR gets bigger. Should I lean toward 1/2 pot more than checking our nfd?

Having the As would be a key blocker here and enables you to pot-call the flop, but you might be correct just to pot-call anyway with your gutshot + bdfd.

Feels a bit spaz when we get raised but I like the flop bet here, we block some continues, have gutter + bd and AA vs a fish.
As played I want to bet this turn but I feel like we shouldn’t be because it’s just opened the door for the other half of the deck?
Waiting for others to weigh in on turn.

I think if the flop goes check check and the turn puts out no straights but any non-pairing river other than a K or A makes a straight makes me feel like getting it in on the turn is pretty +ev vs most any range. If we get just called then we can check decide bad rivers or even jam ourselves for value on any board pair / flush / 9.

I don't think Hero should have a checking range on this flop. I think you can bet mixed 1/3 and full pot, or just full pot all the time, but I don't think you need to be checking this flop with any of your BB 3-betting range.
Given that you did check and it got checked through I think you have a clear bet on the turn. I'd be curious to know why you decided on 3/4 vs full pot. I think both are fine but I think I am trying to keep my turn probes either small (1/3) or big (pot) and on most blanks (Qd) I lean towards pot. You must have done the same as you bet quite large. I'm fine with the size, but curious to hear thoughts.

SPR2.2 this is like the easiest pot on the flop, don't complicate things
