1-2-10 PLO, 3 handed. Hero recently busted V in standard hand. V is lag and has been caught tripling off a few times. He is very loose pre and has been sizing to hand strength pre.

Hero on btn with AAKJr with dry As

Pre: V (500) in sb opens 25, bb folds, hero pots 80 and V calls

Flop (165) : 855ss
V checks hero.. spr is around 2.5

Just go with a bet/call for like 100

If villain is decent:

b/f 1/3 or x-back. These are among the worst aces you could have if you get any action.

You really don't want that dry As which blocks your opponent's bluffs. You don't have BDFD, you don't have even runner runner straight. You're also blocking KK and JJ.

Good post, agree with everything you said. Still betting this hand 100% and never folding to raise against this type of villain. Weak AA is still AA and we have a bunch of weaker hands to b/f.

Having position, the NFB I like checking back vs this villain to keep his very weak hands in to potentially allow him to bluff later streets. I also like to balance when we check hands like AKTJ. If he tries to barrel when the flush hits I would strongly consider calling since we have the NF blocker.

I include strategies like this in my recent video called, “Destroy Aggressive PLO Players with This Game-Changing Strategy!”

Can't we plonk some hands into a checking range on this flop? We're not betting range, right? A benefit of cbetting small is that we could barrel a flush, but actually I think we could rep AA+nfd well if we check back flop and it hits turn, better than the small bet which would commit a turned flush.
