Would you do something differently? Preflop I decided to be a little deceptive and not 4! this hand this deep. I have not yet studied 200bb deep play, so not sure if this a standard 4! ?

Decided to fastplay on flop for protection. Villain was on loose side with his 3bets, around 15% on 400 hands. He was also agro with his cbets, so I would assume this is a range cbet for him.

Pretty sure 4 Bet OOP here is the right play here

I 4bet this too. If villain has a 3bet that high then they can have all sorts of junk & just flatting you're gonna have no clue where you are unless you hit the flop hard. I am curious though if 200 BB deep you wanna be flatting some of your weaker aces. You do have a suit & a bit of connectivity though so I think this one is 4 bettable

that said I mostly wanted to post in this thread because I love Magma too

I think you played it fine - I think I'd be more inclined to flat AA like this instead of 4bet because they're trashy AA, and on the flop of course he can get in worse hands.

I must just be bad in these spots .. I play basically all live too where I'm less inclined to 'auto' do anything against my player pool

I'd be doing more 4b if there were 1-2 other Players that came along/remain, but 'open-flat' is certainly fine depending on the history with the V.

I just loath Flopping trips with a pair in my hand, even AA, especially when the trips are lower than the other card. With straight and flush draws out there I just x/c and evaluate Turn. I'm not folding Turn, but I'm just happy to pot control and see the River unimproved. We do have the Ac but is it really worth that much on a paired Board?

When the River comes out we would have 25.83 left looking at 36.72 in the middle .. Are we good 29% of the time here or is this just an 'auto' GII spot? Both the flush and high wraps get there and we have to commit 129bb via shove or call.

We obv miss value against other 4x .. is there a chance we don't get paid if an Ace hits River? Definitely some results bias, but my V are not GII on the flop without a made hand or a double/triple draw, all of which come home. GL

4! Pre suited ace with some connectivity.

Will reduce the spr to ~2.5 on the flop

Money getting in on the flop with these holdings anyways
