PL 5 Card Omaha 1(BB)
HERO ($95.50)
BB ($122.22)
UTG ($258.33)
HJ ($110.94)
CO ($100)
BTN ($107.01)

Dealt to Hero: As 9s 6h Ah Jd

UTG Raises To $3.50, HJ Folds, CO Calls $3.50, BTN Calls $3.50, HERO Raises To $18.50, BB Folds, UTG Calls $15, CO Folds, BTN Folds

Hero SPR on Flop: [1.71 effective]
Flop ($45): Jc Qd 9c
HERO Checks, UTG Bets $45 (Rem. Stack: $194.83), HERO Folds

UTG wins: $42.05

Wasn't sure if this check fold is correct.

His stats were 32/11/7

If I do pro poker tools My hand vs an 11% villian Range on this flop I have 34% equity

If I do my hand vs 8% villian range as he opens utg, and exclude AA as he sometimes 4 bets I have 31% equity

At 1.71 SPR I need 39% equity is that correct?

However when I bet he folds sometimes and I have fold equity - when he calls I have less than the quoted equity because he folds his low equity hands.
So what value do I use for stack off equity required to bet?

I'm trying to work out how I'm supposed to think about this type of spot?

Interestingly If I have the Ac instead of As my equity only goes up from 31% - 33% (for vs 8%!aa range) but now should I bet because I block a lot of his continue range?

Thanks

Check fold seems ok as played.

There might be some bet/fold lines that can work but not easy to optimize. For example, Hero can bet 15 and jam some turns if called.
