Villan is 46/36 over 50 hands, very agg. However i want to know what you guys think the standard play is, as this situation comes up a lot.

Should we be checking the turn now the board is paired hoping for a cheap show down?

Or should we be raising always here as our hand cannot improve and he may call enough with bare trips to make it +EV over time?

just fold, you would get way better spots against 5plo players

If he is always aggro with strong hands (as well as weaker hands/semibluffs), then he should have raised with two pairs or sets on the flop so he can't have a boat on the turn and has at best Trips or a weaker flush then you should definitely get it all in on turn.

I prefer a bet/fold on that turn as opposed to a check call...
but if you know he is aggressive/bluffy on scare cards.. I would check call the turn and re-eval the river.

at $5 PLO it probably is easier to just fold and pick your spot as played.
This is why I advocate the bet on that turn he isnt going to raise without a house.
