Villain is 71/21 after 34 hands w 100% c-bet after 4 hands and an AF of 1.2. No specific reads.

Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 6 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

MP: $5.69
CO: $3.80
BTN: $12.95
Hero (SB): $6.24
BB: $12.33
UTG: $2.76

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with 9 9 J A
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.17, Hero calls $0.15, 1 fold

I play very tight from the SB but i could not find a fold with this hand, double suited w. a suited ace, nut SD potential and a medium pair.

Flop: ($0.39) Q T 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $0.25, Hero raises to $0.90, BTN calls $0.65

I check the flop. Could i donk here? I feel the bet size indicates weakness. Big hands often bet bigger, although i have no specific reads on villain. I decide to raise, thinking i have a lot of FE. Is calling more standard?

Turn: ($2.19) 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.09, BTN raises to $8.36, Hero calls $3.08 all in

With this turn i don't see much else to do than get the money in. I still thing a have FE and good pot equity too. This must be standard?

Did i play OK? Could i have done something different?

Standard is c/c flop, c/c turn, then umm shove if you hit.

I think you overestimate your fold equity and have just ended up putting it in bad. After you c/r flop you ofc have to shove that turn.

Having said all that, with his 100% c-bet I don't mind c/r this flop. If I do so though I'm maxing it. You played okay.

Are you talking about c/c this turn or any turn? Because i don't see how i can call a big turn bet w. just an open ender (although i might have greater implied odds due too my outs being an 8 and a K instead of the more likely 9 and A).

Better to keep the pot size under control OOP without a really strong hand (no, you don't have one OTF.) C/R flop is overplaying a bit IMO. C/C is better. I think leading out is fine too, that is probably what I'd do, I like to give my opponents a chance to fold, and how they react to my bet gives me info about their hand.

I don't think you have meaningful fold equity when you c/r OTF. Very few micro players seem to fold to such raises OTF in position (turn is different,) except total nits (which this guy isn't.) You are only making the pot bigger OOP w/marginal hand. No need.

C/C turn as well, this is the kind of hand you'd like to see a river with cheaply. And I mean this specific turn, since it gives you the NFD.

Thanks for the help.

So there are two ways to play this hand?

1. B/f flop, b/f turn unimproved, b/c turn if heart hits, b/r if i catch the nuts, value bet river if I have the nuts or bluff some cards.
2. C/c flop, c/f turn unimproved, c/r turn if straight hits and c/c if a heart hits, value bet river if I catch nuts, c/f if I miss.

Which is better against this villain?

I am thinking that leading is probably best because of high c-bet stat. What do you say? And if I bet both flop and turn and miss, what are good bluffing rivers?

Think you played it fine... c/c on flop and turn would be to passive.
