1-2 plo with 5 dollar bring in at Aria. Hero has a very low pfr and that leads me to believe sb is extremely AA heavy.

Hero in utg2 with 5789ds with 89cc

Pre: UTG straddle 10, UTG1 limps, hero iso to 45. Folds to sb who 3b to 150, folds to hero who calls

Flop (313) : KcTd9d
Sb checks

Spr is 2

Hero checks back

Turn (313) : Kddd
Sb checks

Does SB over-fold? If so, you can put out 1/2 pot and see what's up. Also depends on SB propensity to x/r or x/c when OOP.

If you go this route you pretty much need to be willing to go 3/4 to pot on a blank River pending any live reads about how they called Turn.

These are fun 'poker' spots, but typically in my PLO pool Players are too in love with their cards to 'see' what they should be folding to. GL

I think you have some better hands to use here, the 9 isn't very relevant because SB shouldn't have many 99 combos. I think you want to have at least both a T and a Q or J in your hand to block more straights and boats in V's range. Additionally, even if you hit your flush on river it may not be good.

The front door diamonds completed and paired the board.

I'm not sure whats better, 1 black or 4 green but def take this shot at bluffing AA. We should be checking back lots of K/K9 and not infrequent KT on this board. Last money we put in the pot. If you take a free card you still may get bluffed off whatever equity you river because he's a big favorite to know where the Ad even if he hasn't used it yet. Also, when we improve I'm not sure we get called by worse on those rivers.

I'm sure in live 1/2 this is AA a very high % of the time, and with his turn check this seems like AA. With that said I'd imagine a turn bet would fold bare AA - I don't think effective stacks were mentioned but that certainly is important.

Spr 2 implies stack of around 750 to start.

I think this is a good spot to bluff the flop as you have some decent blockers against his checking range.

On the turn, I think you should check behind and realize your equity as there is a good chance your straight outs are good. More to the point, I think you have better hands to bluff this turn with - hands with less equity than this hand.

i think u have to check back now.

a bet on the flop could set up a good bluffing spot on the turn but checking back and getting free cards isn't bad either

I think a bet works a lot here vs. the right player.

Curious why you say OP has decent blockers here? Only blocker is the 9s. Maybe blocking some of the backdoor flush?
