    Vil is a reg it seems. 24/19. 8% 3b, 37% agg, 71% cb, 46% turn cb, 2 of 6 river cb, 21% showdown. 560 hands.

Everything seems sort of reasonable otr.

7% 3 bet isnt high enogh for us to be flating this hand. Raise preflop. Check calling all the way without a strong read is a good way get owned.

yeah, +1 for open raising this hand, although i donīt think itīs mandatory. itīs just slightly better imo against this type of player (reg, prob multitabling, folding a lot w/out thinking too much, gives you the initiative etc).
as for postflop, also agree with killaherni, show some agression somewhere. lead flop or turn, for value and to get some kind of information of villains hand.

as played, itīs very tough and requires good reads/handreading skills. your hand looks much more like a draw than a made hand, villain fires a sec barrel on a turn which should concern neither of your flop calling range much, so he should expect you to call both your drawing hands and your made hands; itīs clear you have a somewhat connected hand by your preflop line which should probably hit this board a decent amount of time, he still fires river which must have hit most of your draws. plus heīs prob a multitabling reg who doesnīt want to get involved too much into a war with another reg by just barreling away. all his made hands are prob content to c/behind on that river, too. there are about no draws he could have bet otf and ott that missed.

all those factors combined, and thinking deeply about it, leads me to believe that prob at best we are calling for a chop here, hence prob rather easy fold. i have to admit though, that i had lots of time thinking about the correct play here, writing this, but would prob in game in grind mode just call it off -i mean, i have a straight, ffs! thinking about it as i did now, i come to the conclusion that it is a pretty clear fold though....

i think you should think about how you created that situation for yourself, and what you could do differently to avoid that situation. what are the best outcomes we could have with a passive c/c line? we give villain all the initiative with a pretty good but vulnerable hand and have to souldread at the end, which in game wonīt turn out too well too often. i think you should construct your default lines in that spot differently.

phew, that was pretty long, iīm not gonna read it again, i hope it sounds somewhat coherent...
