Because while live games do have good opponents, there's also tons of people who are playing like 70/5 stats that never three bet w/out AA (and sometimes don't three bet when they do have AA), miss tons of value (a guy called my flop bet of 20 on Q77, potted a 5 turn and checked behind a river K with QQT3), chase non-nut draws, and otherwise do terrible things. I've seen a lot of people who have had reasonable success at PLO by simply not playing all the garbage one gets dealt.
Or for the short reason, we can play our hands so perfectly against a lot of players. Even against someone like villain in this hand (likely a decent player), we don't have to worry about calling a big river raise with an underfull if the board comes TT8-4-2. He isn't running a blocker bluff w/ QJT9 or anything. He just has the T8.
