3bet pot with triple pair. screwed up flop?

Notes on villain:
  • small check raise with nut straight on flop. Checked paired board afterwards
  • Didn't bet a 13 card wrap oop on flop or trips on turn

PLO 25 on GG Poker
Villain (SB): 134BB 3bet % of 9% over 1000 hands
Hero (CO) : 240BB with AhKdQd6c. Not sure it matters but my steal % is low this session.

Hero RFI pot to 0.85. Villain 3bets to $2.80

Flop AsQc6d ($5.85)
Villain bets $2.93, hero???

Villain's range is likely AAxx or 4 card straights. Maybe a 3 card straight with a gapper? Based on my notes though I don't expect villain to have a draw here as I expect them to check it so put villain on a likely AAxx, KKxx, QQxx. I'm dominated against AA and QQ but I'm beating KK. What do I do? In a non-3bet pot I'd bet but SB 3bet has to be strong. Just ran this in pro poker tools.. The results were surprising to me.

well 3b% of 9% is def much wider than just AA, certainly in this spot.

We block all the sets so only few combo's available.

He can have the set but also many times 2+ pair draw combo's he is trying to push through.

So I'm definitely calling turn.

Yeah after running it through pro poker tools I’ll be ahead almost 2/3 of the time on flop and still pretty good after the turn. I guess I out-thought myself on this one

Easy all in as played, agree with preflop fold (AKQx is particularly bad vs. 3betting range, since in a 3bp you're trying to make something better than TPTK and with this hand you can only flop a wrap on exactly JTx and your 2 pairs are often dominated). One way you can think about this hand is that if you aren't calling turn with this, then what are you calling with, and is that wide enough? IMO the answer would clearly be no.

Some comments on your preflop thought process, he is betting 9%, think of this more as a range rather than such specific hands. He could very easily be playing something like AKJ6ds this way. Also this board is cbet effectively 100% in GTO so it's possible he is doing that, then on the turn there are plenty of wrap+FD or OESD+FD+pair (for example how do you think he plays 8765 with spades?) that your opponent may be keen to jam OOP because it would be better than check/call or check/fold.

this is also a resteal spot so villain might be three betting more than 9% in this particular situation. SB is particularly incentivized to three bet, as he is oop and wants to get bb out, many players are playing three bet or fold in this scenario.
