I didnt 3b pre cause he villain is a reg running 23/14 & runs ~10% from ep, looking at it now though I think I shouldve, its all good if he 4bets & even better when he doesnt.
Anyway, his cb is only 34% otf & he hasnt ever c/r over 900 hands.
The over callers is a 41/20 fish btw.
So I bet IP & get two callers, I turn gin and 5/8 pot, I guess I coudlve went like 6/8.
When he c/r like this his range is so thin, he never has 22/44, I block the other 2 sets. It seems like maybe something sick like he had JJ+fd otf & turned top set, could we give a bit more weight to QQ given his low cb+low c/r? QJ also fits the bill here.
If he was more c/r happy I guess we could expect to see 9T+fd stuff.
I 100% 3 bet pre.
Vs 2 players I check that flop. I think that we are fliping or far behind so as u played cbet turn and then fold or just check turn. If u had 2 clubs it is easy shove on the turn for me.
vilain can do this with worse double-pairs. I shove.
We can't shove at this point as he has overbet our stack size. And even if we could, why try to shut out a hand we have dominated and has at most 4 outs?
Only reason to shove would be if he has equity in a flush draw, and we would have to be real deep to have enough to shut him out. He would probably not fold after making that raise unless we were able to repot, and with stacks THAT deep, we would need to seriously consider the possibility that he actually does have QQ or JJ... or some KT hand with 2 clubs.
Or that he is a huge fish for shoving a naked flush draw that deep.
