PTR has him as a winning NL HU player at 25 50 and he havent rly logged that many PLO hands.

Does he expect you to vbet light when checked to

Given that you underrepped your hand, i would never ever fold here.

Depends how he sees you playing this river when checked to

If he is not a bad player and he sees you as not a bad player, then I would just snap this off. He's got low c/r frequency flop and so it's a pretty noob play by him if he is c/r his good boats on this river at a high frequency... The more of a ****** he is, the less I wanna call

I expect him to think that ill prob only bet FH on the river... Maybe a rare time A high flush, but given he dosent vb light i dont think he expect me to vb flushes...

    Lol?

You flat his flop raise and only call turn. In his shoes i would expect to be up against a weaker hand than j5--> thats what i mean with underrepped.

So that means you think he doesn't respect your game very much? If that's what you really expect, you should have an easy decision

I think betting smaller on the river like 2750 or 3100 nets you more money on average, not sure I can fold the river, its certainly not a happy snap though.

No that means that he would never vb other hands himself and therefore prob not expect me to

Could he play a hand like 7653 like this? Given that his c/r freq is low and he probably knows his image if he is somewhat competent.. I can imagine him adding a hand like that to his c/r range.

i think youre riversizing is too big

you pretty much never have a bluff in your range (sometimes a made hand turning into a bluff but thats very rare) so i just like a suckerbet of 1/2 pot

as played i think its a superclose fold since there are 3 straightflushes possible and him being rly tight postflop

With 2 fairly easy straight flushes for him to have as well at this point, it probably is a fold.

I actually thought quite a bit about my riverbet...

My thoughts was that if i bet small I allways had to call a raise.. But if I bet this big he would call with all FHs and only raise if he had me beaten...

Im actually more worried about SF than JJ in this spot?

yea i just meant that from a gametheoretical point of view you have to bet smaller with your complete range...

ingame against this specific opponent in this hand it can def be more profitable to bet this amount

given that he is weaktight postflop it doesnt really matter that we underrepped our hand here and it seems like a clear fold. he is never bluffing, and i cant think of any worse value hand. weaktight players just very very rarely go out of line on paired boards when flushes come.

    Exactly what I am thinking.

Read is basically villain thinks we're never vbetting worse (not much worse anyway) and is unlikely to be bluffing... so this has to be a fold if the read's good.

56d7d is so much in his range in this spot... He is trapping here not bluffing
    If you fold then Wp

Yeah, really brutal hand but agree that it's a fold. If we figure his whole range as [JJ, J5], and that he's twice as likely to play JJ that way as J5, then it's almost exactly neutral EV whether you call or fold, but I think straight flush combos come up a lot more than 3x as often as bluffs which makes it a fold. Against described player, you probably see a bluff on a river CR like 1 time in 100 if that.

Interesting. I suppose the "winning 25/50 NLHE player" thing means he's going to be a lot more capable of a big move than an average passive player, but it's still hard to think of him bluffing much when you make it that big on the river. You just look so committed. Still think it's a fold against his range, but it's probably a lot closer than I was thinking at first.

His line makes no sense unless he was airballing flop and backed into a straightflush and was like "omgomg what do I do... CHECK". I mean to have a c/r, bet, c/r range on this board runout sucks unless you got some insane metagame going on which you just wouldn't have without playing thousands of hands with someone
