Villain started off the match by 3-betting every 3rd hand, but has since slowed down considerably. I haven't really been 3-betting much at all, so I don't think he's peeling that light on the flop but I dunno.

He has snapped off every big bluff I've made so far, so a check/raise isn't necessarily going to get much respect here. I don't know, every course of action feels kinda dirty to me.

why barrel so many rivers, i mean our blockers are usually pretty meaningless on the river if he didnt raise turn.

cbetting flop seems quite bad if you havent been 3betting much, no? seems like a ton of turns where he can take it away from what he probably suspects is mainly a high card 3betting range.

are you recommending ck/call or? if so yes, i prefer betting

if we think he will float us really wide and bet when checked to we can cr a wider range

i don't know what i recommend really, i just know that against what seems to be fairly aggro player when he thinks our range is likely to be weighted towards AAxx/high cards, cbetting this flop 200bb deep should be getting us in a lot of trouble. that said, i agree check-call is quite silly, but i just don't see how betting can be good especially if we end up getting to showdown.

He was aggressive preflop at the beginning at the match. Postflop he was kinda leaning more to the passive side, with lots of thin calldowns.

Put your bluff pants on now. If you hit the river, take them off and go for the money shot

i actually kind of like a c/r. it's not like we're missing much value on the turn if he checks back, and we can still win the hand/keep the pot manageable if he does. there are worse hands he will bet on the turn, particularly if you haven't 3b a ton, he will take a stab often with them on this texture. plus we have equity, and stacks are decent for it. with that said, firing isn't bad either, i think c/c is worst

He bet 120, I c/red pot and he jammed the rest in with 8862 w/ spades. It felt spewy at the time, given that I didn't have a strong read for how he plays in position.

I would have preferred to bet the turn and check most rivers (like I said, shorty didn't like to fold).
