Villain is 69/30 over 150 hands, active pre, seems like a regular loose fish. I'm almost sure he will have the split on the turn - what is the best lien? just shove with our small redraw? how about call and shove nut changing rivers [plus the ones we hit - or should we check call them to let him push us off the chop?]
Should I just shove on the turn?

i like the way you played it and would shove river. though against thinking players you'd have to be barreling / flatting turn with a set sometimes for this line to make any sense (if we had a straight with a set then ofc we're shoving turn). then again this is a spot where you never have air so I don't mind creating a scenario where opponent could make a huge mistake by folding the same hand. plus we have boat blockers. so our line makes no sense but woteva.

our line could easily be a straight w/ Aces up (aces full on river), mb smth like aces up + clubs, set + clubs, there are certainly some hands taht wouldn't shove the turn but make a boat on the river.

seems like as great a spot as any to shovel it in.

edit: although he definitely can have straight and be full here so I guess this isn't a fistpump spot, but shoving still has to be profitable.

Yeah, my worry is that a decent amount of his hands that have the straight will have made their full house too...

Nah, he's so loose that I don't think that's a huge concern

I shove for sure

You're never folding anyway, so shove > C/C to get him of splits.

I wouldnt hate folding to the turn raise.

I dont think he is all that likely to be full here, as he`d have to have an AJ with another broadway in his hand (assuming he always has the straight on the turn). Given his stats he likely 3-bets a lot of those hands pre (his 3b% might help). So yeah, +1 for shoving.

I ship unless I am prepared to c/f.

Please don't ship turn. It accomplishes nothing. On the river, being OOP is actually an advantage since you're gonna be the one pushing your opponent off a chop. If he turns up with a boat, tough luck, same result if you woulda put it in on the turn. IMO, if you're not prepared to bluff him off a chop on this river, you could consider folding the turn like Hattifnatt said. This becomes even more viable if you have 0 redraws instead of your baddish one, and if stacks get even deeper.

exactly. even though villain is of course showing up with a FH sometimes, still the best play.
