Betting 25-35 a lot. Not a bad spot to check.

What's button's stack size? Depends a lot on how the table plays, but probably betting relatively large. I find small bets less attractive in DBBP. You rarely get check-raised in my experience, as people are pretty incentivized to lead out. You want to fold out like JJ w/ spades type hands as your equity on the top is quite low.

I don't remember, sry.

Interesting. I have gotten check-raised twice by the nuts from early and mid position players so it seems pretty common here in Texas. But actually this table was passive. Didn't see a check-raise for 2 hours and most everyone was limping pre. So I should've thought about that and lowered my estimated probability of a check-raise.

Yeah, to me it feels like you have quite a bit of fold equity in a lot of spots - it's usually hard to have good hands on both boards. This case is weird though, you really hate being check raised as 67 is nuts on the one, and you're almost certainly outkicked (if not drawing dead) on the bottom.

When one of the boards is locked down we get to bet small. I would bet 30 and fold to a raise.

I check although I could see betting to deny equity from a K or pair on 2nd board.

Plus, I'm blocking the nuts on 1st board.

BTN checks.

Turn ($90):

1st board: 3d 4c 5h 6d

2nd board: Ks 7s 7c Kc

Decent player from UTG+2 leads out for pot ($90).

It folds to me. Your play?

At the table I probably call down but I really think you can shove.

His most likely hand is a stiff king, possibly with some outs on top. Your 10 FH or quads outs are likely good.

Alternatively he could well have something like seven and a piece (73 thru 76) liking his two way equity after it checks through.

In either case you have a good freeroll. Your doomsday scenario realistically is something like K high diamonds, but even then you have as many outs on the bottom as he has on top.

Just shove and try to run good.

At this spr we should probably ship. As noted above we will usually have more outs than our opponents.

Pretty standard call. Against decent opponent we are behind most of the time - not pushing equity / and have little fold equity. Hero doesn't have flush draw on either board which makes pushing unattractive.

Even against another 87xx opponent is likely to have better kicker.

Unfortunately, I made a bad fold. I was remembering the times when I got check-raised by the nuts on the flop so I thought he had slowplayed KK or K7 and I don't like calling for half the pot in a split pot game.

But KK or K7 is hard to have because there are already 2 Kings and 2 sevens on the board and I have a seven.

When I thought about the hand later, I did think he probably had a stiff K and my 7 was under-repped so I could make the call and reevaluate the river and maybe surprise him with full house if I hit my draw. Plus, I had position, which is something.
