I have a comment on what you said : when you claimed it is 1k more : is it likely because you have a decent hand or a trash?
For me it is because you have a decent hand, otherwise you really do not care.
Why? because the rule is that you do not want to bother a whale for nothing... He has to be comfortable at that game and fall in love with you....
Another question is "how do you think the owner will perceive this?"
I think he should definitely think you have a strong hand, so this is really not a bluff for me...
