Just a check up. Villain is aggro fishy player. They don't fold to 3 bets and peel super wide.

Hero checks, villain bets 13.5BB, Hero calls

Hero checks, Villain bets 35.75BB, Hero shoves for 100BB (total)


Not sure if I should be betting this flop. Put us in a very awkward spot if we get raised. On The turn, there are basically so few good rivers for us. I thought we need to get it in here. How would you play this hand? If you bet the flop and get raised are you going with it vs a fishy player?
Check this in flop hero and it seems to really depend on blockers and even then it's a bit mixed.

Do you like the turn play? Do you lead and call it off?

I think it's fine. He probably knows exactly what you have on turn, so he can fold anything behind or w/o great equity. Don't want to give him a "free" river and you want to get paid, though, so not much else you can do.

I don’t know man, I think that kind of opponent will very much put you exactly on AA and check back even QQ or bet it smaller. Even with combo equities will take a free card most of the time. Just because villain is very aggro is not enough to rip this spot. Someone has to be complete button clicking for that to be good.

I cf flop but as played lead turn and fold vs raise. As played Vs this size I guess I just fold it. I think call is reasonable too.

Given our reads that villain plays 50% and never folds to a 3b, x/f flop is not good imo. I think betting is better - keeps our range uncapped and defines his range depending on what he does. If he raises so be it, but I don't think he'll raise that often esp given stack sizes. As played OTT - he should have KJ a lot here imo, as he's only betting KJ or hearts, and might even slow down with naked hearts as this turn nails your range. Honestly I might x/f turn here unless you have info that he barrels like a maniac - continuing here you're basically hoping he has like 87hh and is betting aggressively.
