kinda close but muck it because you have a ton of reverse implied odds unless you hit a non diamond 8.
let's look at villain's range 1. if villain has a big draw, you lose a lot of $ if a diamond comes 2. if villain has a lone queen, 2 pair, or a set, you do NOT make a lot of $ when you hit

standard fold. only card u r safe with is a non-diamond 8. pretty much stick to not-chasing non-nut flush draws especially when only getting 2:1 with only one card to come. once u get better @ teh omahahaha u'll get a feel for when to chase or not chase.

bet flop and solve a lot of your turn problems.

raise preflop is also a definite possibility (depending on your style).

as played, fold is fine, float/sponge is fine, all depends on reads.
