100K freeroll? O_O how do i sign up?

need to play 120 hours at and Harrah's properties in AC between July 1 and Aug 31st.

I played in the $100,000 freeroll in June of 2007. It got 330 players, but only sixty hours in one month were required to play. The room was busier then too.

The structure was atrocious. It was all-in pre-flop or fold by the third level even with an above average stack.

When is the money coming from ? Caesar's ? Caesar's BBJ ?

I'm sure it's funded from their jackpot drop.

I noticed recently that all their high hand bonuses were capped at $100.

There are high hand bonus's at Caesars AC?

My bad if this is in Atlantic City. I assumed it was Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and all my comments are based on that.

All quads/straight flushes $100. All royals pay $500.
Probably going to change once their BBJ starts on Aug.1.

The tournament starts at 7:00 pm and will be held at Caesar's in Atlantic City.

How many will qualify? Who knows - but estimates I've heard are in the 500 - 800 range.

One can earn qualifying hours at any of the 4 Harrah's properties in Atlantic City - Showboat, Caesar's, Harrah's, and Bally's. 120 hours of play is the minimum needed and you will get 10,000 in starting chips. Play 160+ hours and you get 12,000 in starting chips. Play 200+ hours and you get 15,000 in starting chips. Hours from all 4 casinos will be combined - so it really doesn't matter where you play in terms of this freeroll.

Hours are earned from July 1 - August 31. So there is still over a month to qualify.

All hours count equally, so it doesn't matter if you are playing 1-5 stud, 2/4 limit, 2/5 NL, or anything in between or higher. No extra hours are given for multi-comp days or Thursday night's double comps/tier points at Bally's.

The top 200 people get paid, with $100 each going to the first 100 who get paid (bust out in 101 - 200 positions). I don't have the pay-out chart in front of me, but I know that first place gets $20,000.

The freeroll will be funded by the casinos operating budgets. In Atlantic City, it is illegal to pay for anything from the BBJ drop except the BBJ. High hands, freerolls, and other promotions are paid from the casino operating budget.

Does anyone know if there might be a website set up where you can check if you qualify? I totally lost track of my hours, I might be at 400 combined, or 119. If I'm at 199, I'd like to try to get into town on the 31st to move up a level.

There is no website site set up for this. The poker room's each have a print out showing total hours - but the most recent one is at least a week out of date.

Calling the room you played the most at and asking is probably your best bet in finding this information out.
