Up until this season, I've watched it in standard def. There would be times in some episodes for 5 or 10 minutes where it would be all jacked up. I watched last nights ep in HD and it looked great with the new graphics. (and now that I ditched the old TV, I can tell the difference between a club and a spade)

It would be pretty crappy if they don't fix it for standard def. It's tilting otherwise.

Wauw, the hole cards are big. When there is 3 players in the pot you don't see anything any more.

Just watching it now. When I saw these crocodile shoes I immediately assumed King Niche had been found.

I wasn't there, so whatever if he had a read, but in a vacuum I didn't like it. I also didn't like the short-stacked Juanda "automatic" 3bet shove w A6s (or whatever), which I believe was also against an EP raiser.

Weak aces are weak. If you are first in, that's another story, but with action in front you just have to sigh and fold both spots IMO.

That said, I believe the antes were huge in this event, which mitigates it some.

I can't believe that we are going to have to listen to this horribly annoying family again at the final table.

I would have ignored her too out of embarrassment. For the record, I never criticized Mizrachi's play.... just pointed out that his wife and mother are two of the most annoying people on planet Earth.

Re: WSOP on ESPN: $50,000 Players Championship, July 27 - 8-10pm ET

I thought the Grinder played all right. He definitely looked a little dumb when all his donkbets with air got snapped off, and he did get in some absurdly favorable situations, but it wasn't to Joe Cada extents or anything and the shove with A7s heads up seemed pretty standard, just sick that he got there.

As for why people seem to suddenly love Mizrachi, well he's a comeback/underdog type of story and that has quite the appeal. I thought he was pretty annoying during the 2008 $10k PLO and in other previous broadcasts but now that he doesn't look as much as a dumb guido anymore and seems to be a bit humbler, it's hard not to root for him a bit.

That's an online play.

Baker is an annoying donkey and I've only seen him play for 2 mins. Thinks he's good like every other online geek donkey.

Don't you know, its 6 handed, my aj is good lol

Watching this is like playing $1 freezout mtt on PS.

Just donkeys with more money/backers, that's all and someone has to win.

hard to cheer for any of them,

It says Vladimir Schemelev on the Hendon Mob but the graphics call him Shchemelev. Is this because we don't know how to write Russian names and they don't know themselves either?
