Is there a site where I can watch it? I missed the televised version and I tried pokertube but none of the videos are available. Any ideas?

Yeah the graphics are a little too large and too dark also. Just a tad. But oh well.

Pokertube has it, as well as pokercast, as well as youtube. Hell, it's everywhere.

Grinder's wife is the hottest woman I've seen associated in any way with poker. Lucky fn basket!! And I bet he didn't have to say a word, she pulled him on looks alone. sigh

Having sed that their body language towards each other was awful, wot a lame "u did it baby" no eye contact walk straight off again at the end, mmm I may have a chance

Seriously?

Was the Nekotyan comment a level?

Grinder was angling for Subway sponsorship.

Some of the most bizarre play I've seen.

You must not get out a lot. I play in live casinos maybe once a month and I've seen better looking chicks at my own table.

Completely understand. I hate the plastic Barbie look myself. I'm getting grief for thinking Gail is hotter than Padma on Top Chef. It was in jest but someone wanted to ban me because I suggested that Padma would be filing her nails asking if you were done yet while boning her. DO NOT WANT!

I think by now everyone knows you have to get lucky to win a tourney. We don't need to hear about it every time there is a tourney on TV.

It's not the fact that he got lucky, it's the fact that he played nearly every hand that got televised quite poorly.

The only hand he played "well" is the 3 3's hand and possibly the T8 hand (but that's to be debated).

This is supposed to be a good player. He looked like a ****ing donk.

Also, the c/r with AQ on the Q45r flop and then bet a large bet, call a large shove on an 8 turn IS HORRENDOUS. "How can I fold?/Could I get away?" ARE U F SRS? What hand did he expect oppie to turn over and be ahead.

Also, the fold with trip 9's with K kicker on a board of .. 799T3.. ARE U F SRS? Cuz he can't have J9/Q9? ??? no, he just has 86 all the time. I could understand folding if u have like 96. but K9? WOW.

Also, the call with KQo vs OPPIE's 4bet shove is pretty bad. Let me show u how bad:

He has to put in 2.7 into 4.2 which is 1.55 to 1

needs a little bit more than 39% equity to call profitably, and he prob needs more since ICM and everything...

Awful call. and the comment, "I put u on 88" gtfo, u did not. if he turned over QQ, u'd be like oops.

Don't even get me started on his HU play.

How did he play the hands you didn't see, i.e. how did Michael Mizrachi play the majority of his hands? We cannot and do not know.

Somehow, Mizrachi - who has $7 million+ in lifetime tournament winnings - donked (according to you) his way to the Player's Championship title, and to the final table of the Main Event, both in the same WSOP year.

If this is really true, which I don't believe, then we should forget about Mizrachi and ask ourselves whether tournament Poker is something we should bother playing or caring about.

Blue, I'm not about to say that MM is an awful player, all I'm saying that a ton of televised hands that were shown were played terribly.

Also there is a TON of luck in tournament poker. More than you will ever realize.

I'm not about to say there isn't a "ton" of luck in tournament Poker.

I will say there were not quite a "ton" of hands televised involving Michael Mizrachi - more like a handful than a "ton." And, accordingly, it's unreasonable, if not simply irresponsible, to conclude he plays awfully, or like a donk, even when you do acknowledge he isn't an awful player.

Dissecting, analyzing and discussing a hand for the purposes of edification is one thing; lambasting, ridiculing, and judging a player, based on *ahem, cough, cough* an extremely small sample size of observed hands, is another.
