Quality of newly uploaded videos is always bad until youtube finishes processing them, then they suddenly change to the high quality ones. You see a poor quality preview until then.
This mother****er only uploaded the first 10 minutes. And it's his first poker upload.

I can't even find the preview show yet...

Anyone else find it interesting that the graphics stretched outside the "standard def" frame? That is, you had to have an HDTV to see all the graphics. First time I've seen a broadcast do that.

(Was it broadcast letterbox on non HDTV channels?)

This. Grinder all in pwned A-7 vs Russian's A-J. Here comes Chino saying:

"Catch the 7 and grind him down."

That's not grinding anyone down that's sucking out. Russsian destroyed all at this table and Grinder was demoralized after being outplayed constantly. His win supports the notion that poker is a game of luck not skill. And Grinder's rail consisted of a bunch of loudmouths praying their guy's bad play could outluck the superior play of his opponent. Lame.

Was it like this the whole time? They usually have problems where they temporarily broadcast the HD image on the SD channel and the edges get cut off. Eventually, it usually zooms back out.

Yes that lacked class. Grinder:

1. belittled the Russian for his poor English.
2. criticized Russian for calling down opponent instead of raising.
3. cannot critique Russian's superior play.

This wasn't a broadcast error or glitch. The hand/bet-size graphics extended far into the "HD zone".

most irritating part of heads up was several hands of the russian taking pot after pot, then Mizrachi doubling up with the rivered flush to draw near even

then a commercial

then we come back and Mizrachi is a giant chip leader

lame

they only have a certain amount of minutes per show, if it was showing hand after hand of pre flop raise and big blind folding heads up (or button raising, bb calling, and then check folding on a flop), everybody would be bitching about how boring it is and how none of the other eliminations were shown

it's gotta be really tough to edit it down to so few hands, I think ESPN did a good job personally with what they were given

edit - I also really enjoyed how they put BB, +1, +2 etc next to their %'s... if they continue doing this at the main event I will be ecstatic

Exact reason people think MM luckboxed his way to the win.

He did get lucky on several occassions to survive, but non of those hands were the reason he had such a large chip lead at the end.

I love how people base every victory on the luck that the editing shows.

And although I agree his Mom was annoying, what Israeli older mom isn't (I'm Israeli and I bet my Mom would act the same way if I was there), but his wife, IMO, didn't do anything to deserve the bashing on here. And the fact that she said, "we did it" just shows how close they are that they lose together and win together. I though she was more than OK.

Oh well haters gonna hate :-)
