Who is the worst TV Poker host/commentator? - Page 4 - Poker Card Room

Why the hell did they pick RWIII to comment on the WSOP 25k HU tourney??? The guy is useless and yeah, as someone said above, pretty much everything he says is wrong. HU is the kind of a game where youd need someone who really knows what hes talking about, otherwise its all going to be wrong and worthless. Haxton was excellent in the durrrr HU challenge. Then again, I understand that a tv channel also looks at who sounds good and is a colourful commentator and so on, its not all about expertise.

Got annoyed now watching Heartland Poker tour...3-handed late in a tourney they ripped hard on a lady for raising to 2.5x on the button with QQ...they said it was inviting calls and was too small a raise late in the tourney. WTF.

She then got a fish to call pre with T9o and donk shove chips on A9xA and she called w QQ and eliminated him.

I would have to say Norm McDonald is the worse. I really wish they would bring back Gabe. I can't take Norm, which is surprising because I like him on SNL, but he is horrible on HSP.
I really like Ali on PAD. I thought that he does a good job. I like how Bloch did on the PLO week as well.
The ESPN and WPT teams are mainstays and they do a good job. They won't be making any changes any time soon, with the possible exceptions of changing the model on the WPT show.

Turn is another ace.
Benyamine bets half his stack.
Trickets tanks for 2 minutes, uses 2 time buttons (speed poker).
Trickett has A4.
Aussie million commentators explain that it's nice hollywood, but that he shouldn't have used the second time button, as he might regret it in real tough decisions later.

Quit shouting and calm down guys - it's not a horse race, motor race, ball game or boxing match!

I like Nick Wealthall - laid back, irreverent, and actually knows what he's talking about poker-wise.

Expert-wise Neil Channing gives the most useful insights on the play.

Tuchman (sp) is by far the worst. Million Dollar Cash Game reminds me of Japanese pron - it has so much potential to be good (good talent), but is ruined by horrible production.

Season 1 is almost unwatchable - there's no graphics, you have no idea who's raising, who's re-raising, how much is in the pot, bet sizing, etc. This wouldn't be too bad if the douchebag announcers were actually talking about the game, rather than babbling on about random nonsense.

Seasons 2 and 3 the graphics improve a bit, but the continued presence of Tuchman (with his faux British accent) ruins the whole show. RWIII is bad, but Tuchman is the worst.
