He's been the best by far IMO. He gave the most insightful information at least in the HU format. The guy just crams knowledge into your head. This opinion is of course discounting the sound of his voice.

Agree. Because he actually knows what he is talking about and therefore educate the fish too much and that's not good.

Haxton is ****ing awesome and so is his voice. It blows my mind that anyone who claims to be a poker fan would say he is bad.

I love Norman and Lon. They are just really great at sounding fresh and funny every year at the WSOP. I think the WSOP coverage would never be the same if they left.

If you wanna talk about educating the fish look at training sites, they're the ones that are destroying the game and cutting all our winrates. I agree the worst commentator EVER has to be williamsonIII for real.

Ike is the balls. I don't understand the hate for him at all.

The worst ever are David Tuchman and—this is going back a bit—Howard Lederer's partner for Poker Superstars, Chris Rose. Two people with nothing intelligent to contribute ever who are also painfully unfunny and love the sound of their own voices.

Ali Nejad used to suck and I used to be his biggest hater but he's gotten way better. Like the first season of PAD sucked because he was always making lame wisecracks but now he more or less shuts the f up and just narrates the action.

I absolutely LOVE Norm MacDonald. I think he's the funniest living comedian bar none. But yeah, he kinda sucks at poker commentary. Of course it doesn't help that the show's format is the worst ever regardless of who is in the commentary booth.

As bad as Ali Nejad was when he first started out, he's really come into his own over the last 2 seasons of PAD.

I think people are confusing in-depth analysis with good commentating. I like Ike but he's definitely not the most accessible (especially to the general public).
