Hi Mason,
Thank you! I appreciate it. A few words about myself - I’ve been playing poker for a living for over 13 years. PLO cash is my main game. Runchuks is my screen name on PokerStars. My regular limits are 2k+PLO online and 10k+PLO live.
I started my podcast about half a year ago as a hobby project and quickly came to love it. It is always a lot of fun digging into interesting topics with different people. At first, the topics of the episodes were mostly centered around what my students would find useful. And while I still often talk to my guests about different aspects of the mental game in poker, routines, habits, study approaches, and processes, lately I broadened the scope.
Upcoming episodes in the next few weeks will feature a world-class close-up magician/card mechanic, world chess champion, and other top performers in various fields. My goal is to explore what it takes to become a top performer, and what can poker players take away from that. And of course, occasionally we will continue to talk about degen stories and success stories with my fellow poker pros and an occasional recreational player
