Any other app I do that with does not have the red X.
So this doesn't even work for my FireHD.
this is what i've figured out also...guess i'm stuck on laptop unless the red x somehow changes (not holding my breath)

Yep, the app worked pretty much perfectly on Ipad. Didn't notice any lagging or freezing or buffering, and the picture was excellent (except of course for the period of technical difficulties, which to me wasn't really a big deal; these things happen). Didn't try the Fire TV app today, so not sure if it was working today (was getting "video currently unavailable" during Day 2 yesterday).

Hopefully Roku app will be available for tomorrow's final table??

I guess I should add that my roku box is what allows me to mirror my phone on my tv.
It's an option on my phone to mirror my phone screen to nearby devices, and it can see my roku and allows me to connect. I don't have Chromcast.

The stream actually came on after a few minutes and the technical stuff was OK. Frequent buffering issues and regular disconnections (requiring F5ing the page like a previous poster noted) were annoying but the video quality was good most of the time. I was watching over wifi.

For a pay subscription service the videos really need to be available same day with DVR like capabilities.

Oh wow, oh wow. What an ingenious idea! Why haven't I thought of that? Me and the rest of the half a million people unemployed in Finland at the moment...

If you concentrated more on the point, it is one of value proposition. $10 is not a huge amount of money, even for me, but the value proposition is not there even if I was a millionaire. I don't believe in paying for overpriced and underdelivering products. If it was $3-5, it'd be a different story, especially at this point where they don't have a proper archive of content to consume while nothing new is going on.

As for the target audience, I would guess that they aim poker people. That includes me and if they're selling it, they're probably wanting everyone of that persuasion to pull the trigger.

That WSOP coverage schedule is disappointing. I would've been on board and they could've named their price, but..

I've noticed a weird bug with the coverage when played on my laptop directly from the site.
As soon as we hit the top of the hour, my coverage goes blank and I have to reload.
3 days in a row this has been happening, always exactly on the hour.
Weird.

The value proposition is quite big, acually. I've already watched hours and hours of nosebleed tournament action for less than what it costs to go the movies. Hell, I spend more than $10 every morning on breakfast tacos. If you ever want to become a millionaire then you need to recognize good value propositions. If you don't think receiving dozens of hours of entertainment for $10 is a good value proposition then I don't know what to tell ya.

Good catch. I noticed it had been going off quite frequently but did notice that it was going off every hour on the hour. It's likely a fairly easy fix if they know about it. Hopefully Cary Katz is browsing the thread and will jump right into the code to get this fixed for us.

I even took the time to report it... All they said was try a different browser.

Good call on contacting them. I contacted them and they said clear cache and cookies or try another browser.

Hopefully they are looking into the issue and if enough people have contacted them about it I would expect they are.

Players not showing their hole cards when they receive their cards is going to negatively impact the quality of the broadcast. Doubt many people will be renewing if this is the case. Also when players at the table are talking, the announcers shouldn't be.

This is the first time that my Flash outright crashed at the top of the hour. Normally I can just refresh. Hopefully this means they are working on it lol (i don't think so though).

I didn't realize that when I signed up for a poker stream that I would also get an automated top-of-hour signal.

So now all the pros are trying to hide their hole cards from the camera? I only heard the discussion in the background but now every time I look at the screen their cards are not showing up. Seems super shady. I'm not sure why any rec players would want to play with these guys. Sucker born every minute I suppose.

I am not following the stream completely, but I thought the TD "ruled" that it was allowed for the players to show their cards (placing them on the RFID reader) at the end of the hand.

Are there some players who are not even doing that??
