These microphone issues, man. Someone should go tap on Cary Katz shoulder and tell him there is work to do. He can't just sit back and play poker tournaments like he did when he was collecting debt from recent college graduates.

paid 10$ yesterday for 1 month subscirption and to see if they fixed any issues from last summer and I'm not satisfied at all.

the video player just kept loading and after 5 minutes got an error message that video cant be played, live chat support was not responding, i got some support from their facebook page but basicaly they were saying to me to reinstall flash, reinstall chrome, restart computer, enable pop ups, enable cookies and none of their "solutions" worked for me, they had no clue whats wrong, the facebook person had no idea, he/she was just fishing with ideas. After ping ponging with them i decided to install firefox and it worked there.

so lets go to the video player, i wanted to rewind back to the start of the stream, of course that didnt work, just like last year, it's buggy as hell. I cant believe they got me to pay them again thinking anything would be better.

oh one more thing, nice job with micing up the players at the feature table so we can hear the table talk lol

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. I'm just not experiencing any of that on multiple devices. Not sure the issues with player mics, but I don't think they really want to be 'heard' either. The SHR isn't being held in their normal studio, but in today's world you'd think that moving technology around shouldn't be that difficult either. HPT and MSPT always have some sort of glitch with their FTs .. but we don't pay for that either!

I think there was quite a bit of 'fast' play in spots .. and even Nick commented on a few questionable plays.

You can't rewind a 'live' stream .. Have to wait until they post the whole session .. which they have been doing fairly quickly. GL

ive had pokergo from inception , and i have to say that i love the dedicated channel for good poker content.. yes, they dont have the best interface, but it works just fine once you figure it out.. I dont ever use it on my laptop but its on all my roku's and they all work seamlessly

The audio can be quite poor and the video player has a variety of issues including when trying to hop around/return to live/etc.

If pokergo is going for a casual viewer experience; maybe the live feed shouldn't have 5-10min+ of a break message.

1) Easy ... You do realize that the Players are on break too, yes? And Aria needs some advertising time. I actually like the timer since it helps me figure out when I need to get back to my device ... not that it couldn't be in the corner while they run something else to entertain us during the break.

2) Better ... I think there is a separation between Poker Stars and PokerGo when it comes to live streams. I think it partially comes down to PokerGo is part of an independent 'operation' without the benefit of internet poker supplementing their budget. I'm not sure why PokerGo has repetitive graphic/stream issues. (See last night during one of the best decision points of the whole stream ... Bonomo folding.) Last night it seemed to be one camera angle that had issues, including the Bonomo tank, but it makes no sense to me how a camera angle could crash a stream. PS has had stream issues in the past, but they do a much better job with the breaks than PokerGo does right now .. including 'instant' replays of that day's important hands.

I think (never really tried to prove) that DNegs has a piece of Poker Central (or at least the PokerGo 'venture') and he could facilitate some 'help' from Poker Stars when it comes to some of these issues with the streams. He is wearing Poker Stars gear during this SHRB so I don't really think there would be a conflict.

I think Nick and Ali really keep the stream going well. They don't seem to go on tangents the way Stapes does sometimes but Stapes has less to work with most of the time with no hole cards being available. GL

PS started to show hole cards from day1 recently

anyway, i also like that theres a timer during breaks, it would be worse if there werent one, you could easily miss the start of the action, this and the Nick and Ali duo is the only thing worthy of 10$/month imo

A Player must act, verbally or physically, before 30 seconds is up. If they fail to do so then they are 'forced' to use a time bank plaque (1 minute per plaque) until they make a decision. The Player doesn't have to thrown in the plaque before 30 seconds, it's automatically assessed. If the Player has no more plaques, then their hand is considered dead after the allotted time runs out.

I was waiting for an angle shot to occur when a Player cut it too close as I think that would be Twitter fodder for a long time!! Can't wait for instant replay to hit poker!! GL

Alright, this is bull****.

Second year running I'm having terrible lag when watching VODs. I've got all the bandwidth in the world wide open, and this piece of crap site refuses to use it. Constantly downgrading to 200p even though it's sitting at 0MB/s for large periods of time. Constantly buffering. Every now and then it freezes and refuses to play until you refresh the page.

I'm guessing this is either low bandwidth on their end, or your classic case of "only tested in America" (happy to take anyone else's money though).

Got the same gargabe support when I contacted them. Got told to restart my PC (what?), and try another browser. Gee, why didn't I think of that...

Servers are definitely overloaded, or there's some sort of bottleneck. Their servers seem to assign a constant maximum download rate for each chunk (I'm assuming it depends on their capacity). Sometimes it'll be so low (~3KB/s) that the stream is as good as frozen, if that happens you can force a new chunk by scrubbing to another point in the VOD.

This **** is not good enough. They had all last year to get it right.

Decided to go and watch the Twitch stuff while they fix it. Can't find any vods for the 1500 Omaha 8. Did they end up streaming it or was the schedule changed?

I watched the last couple hours of the twitch 100k FT play down 6 and thought the new announcers were pretty good. I have no clue who they were (no Tuchman), but they did decent job of some basic poker info and not over analysing the play by play calls. Looking forward to the return of Tuchman tho!

Gave up on Twitch on my phone last night ... the ad ran great though every time I rebooted!! Got to be something on their end for sure .. and it always seems to happen during a big moment during a hand.

Maria isn't getting much smoother IMO when they have a script for her or during interviews, even from her HPT days. She's OK during a hand, but I don't think she's as secure with her opinions and isn't willing to 'ham' it up as much in the down moments. I'd like to see her get some results, which should make her more comfortable in the booth ... keep her away from the chat comments!

I haven't notice. Last summer during the end of one of tourney breaks, I turned around from my chair and was about 2 feet away from her face making dead eye contact ... a bit star struck ... then she gave me an "eeeew!" kind of look and darted her eyes to the ground & turn around fast LOL felt like high school all over again.

Tho in fairness to Maria, I don't have a nice complexion like her. A lot of ache from a bad diet/hygiene.

I'm not very familiar with Twitch so perhaps I'm overlooking the obvious...I'm trying to watch a rerun and see no way to fast forward or rewind.

Are the controls to fast forward and rewind hidden some where or do they not exist?
