I hear you, but we are in 2017... and it's quite clearly some kind of stunt to take advantage of people who are being lazy/forgetful. I don't know how many times I forgot to cancel stuff like netflix in the past.

I subscribed for day 2. I think the stream has been very entertaining and is a high quality production with good commentary.
It's unfortunate about not having a video library. Also, the 1 month subscription auto renewing unless you call seems shady.

I could have swore I heard on stream yesterday that code "SHRB" gave you the first month for free, but when I tried entering it, it didn't work.

This has already been $10 well spent, look forward to keeping it throughout the WSOP, I'll get a lot of use out of it. After the WSOP a lot of people are going to be cancelling en masse, I wonder what their plan for retention will be at that point.

I don't feel like the lack of online based cancellation seems 'shady' but it seems like a general lack of confidence in their product (which to me seems excellent) and a desire to bank a few extra months of cash off people who don't remember to cancel during their business hours.

They said its like getting the 1st months free. As in pay for a year and get $10 off which is like getting a month Free.

It's too bad that the Fire TV up is completely non-functional; at least it is for today's stream. It says "video is currently unavailable" or similar. Pretty frustrating, as this would be an easy way to get it on a bigger screen.

I have my tv on watching baseball and watching it on my laptop and my wife is on a separate laptop upstairs watching. After reading above I also signed into my phone app at the same time and had it running there also

do US based sites simply don't use microtransactions for some reason? nobody uses credit cards or paypal where I live, all online payments are done with microtransactions, I just can't see downside for including them

edit: Little bit tilted that I can't watch a replay for Day 2, because it's still considered "Live". And I can't rewind either.

Yeah that's extremely triggering as an Australian. Get home from work and want to start watching the broadcast? Too bad, you're 6 hours behind and there's 4 hours to go...
