Just tuned in, was there any introduction where they explained how does this work, or did they go straight to play? How come there is such disparity among stacks just 10 minutes in?

"A single ante posted by the big blind" means that at 500/1000 blinds, 1000 ante the small blind puts in 500, big blind puts in 2000, and everyone else puts in nothing?

There was a pre-show on YouTube:

Correct. This is done to speed up the game.

What type of device were you watching it on? Played perfect on my iPhone, but not my FireTV.

the stream last night would not play through my bluetooth headphones - i have had that issue in the past, but logging out and back in resolves it, not for last night's stream (web, firefox, win10)

so I watched it on my iPhone instead without issue

Ill restart my laptop today and see if that solves it - it hasnt been restarted in a week or so, so the issue may well be on my end

Having never made that claim of 'no fathomable reason', reading comprehension may be appropriate over your unsolicited 'advice'. Alternatively, perhaps you weren't following this thread earlier, when the many requests for access to pirated streams were made.

Pulling for Schulman in Event #1. I really enjoyed his commentary during the WSOP coverage, and appreciated his dry humor.

It's been on all afternoon covering the Event #1 final table, down to heads-up now.

Today IS day 2 of the Poker Masters. As happens nearly every day of the WSOP, two events are being run simultaneously.

I agree that it's a bummer Event #2 day one isn't being shown.

Day 1 of a tournament is so much more entertaining than the Final Table.

This is very disappointing.

This collection of seven players is so devoid of personality/entertainment, I kind of wish it was a post-production edited version of the final table LOL.

This might have been a fun one to be able to watch onstream

This 3:30pm EST start time of these Poker Masters FTs is a lot earlier than most of PokerGo's live streams - maybe not ideal for N. America , but guess it maybe gives Europe a chance to catch some live-streams for a change?

It seems like the only logical reason is to do the final table and still have those guys (esp the final 2) be able to start the next tournament on time at 7:30pm

Is this app worth it? Do they only show tournament poker or are there other things on it?

My issue is that I don't see how this service could compare to Netflix, HBOGo or any other streaming service that is priced the same or close to PokerGO. I probably would have been one of the first to sign up if they started out at $5/month, but when I am paying the same price for services that have much better content, I could never get over the mental barrier of paying $10/month for PokerGO.
I can see your points but I think this is the wrong way to look at this. For one thing, it's harder for PokerGo to monetize their services; it's more of a niche/specialty offering. I'm sure if they could make it financially feasible at $5/month or so they probably would, but because it's more niche/specialty it has to be a higher price. Obviously Netflix/Amazon work at those prices because they offer a huge array of diverse and popular content, which is why they can charge those low prices; they are aiming at huge market. PokerGo obviously is not. So I think it helps to keep all that in mind.
