Schillhabel raised and then folded to a ship without showing his cards. So now no other players will know what he opened with.

All hole cards should be shown. This is a made for TV/stream event where the players didn't even pay rake. They knew the hole cards were going to shown when they signed up. No excuse for this hiding hole cards bs.

This is seriously a joke and how is Cary not running on set threatening that these guys will NEVER be allowed back if they don't show right when they get their cards.

Yeah sweet, too bad about the other 25 or so tournaments with no coverage that are on before that...

Ended up cancelling and getting a refund. Signed up with the PokerGo mobile app in mind, and unfortunately it still doesn't work. Contacted PokerGo through Twitter and they were helpful and immediately refunded my subscription.

I really hope they get their **** together in the future. I would gladly pay $100 a year for high quality streaming content+ great backlog of content. Unfortunately right now this has neither.

No, it's called mirroring. I have it on my Samsung.
It uses your WiFi to send fed to Fire TV or Roku. It's like Chromecast.

I prefer when one of the hands is not exposed until the end. Its a fun way to watch poker.

You guys just love complaining.

There is a lot of free poker and free poker content out there. E.g. PNIA, Live at The Bike,
Kings Casino, Pokerstars Championship, Doug Polk YouTube, Alec Torelli YouTube, Joe Ingram Podcasts, Twitch streamers, free training videos, and various poker Vloggers. This is quite a crowded space.

Not to mention here on 2Plus2 and other poker chat forums, Poker Twitter and Poker News web sites, etc etc etc.

Plus TV shows that most consumers have already paid for through their TV/Cable/Satellite such as WPT, WSOP, Pokerstars Championship, Shark Cage etc. High Stakes Poker is also mooted to be coming back with a new series.

So I don't see many people paying a subscription for just a small portion of the total available content that is out there, other than a small number of total poker fanatics, and some top pro players for whom observing their adversaries' play is essential.

Most apps and services nowadays seem to be free, to gain a big subscription base, and then monetize themselves with premium paid for content options and advertising or sponsorship.

So for poker, which let's face it in the grander scheme of things is quite a narrow market, I don't see a paid for subscription service for only a small percentage of the poker that is out there, being too popular.

Also, a lot of potential subscribers are busy playing poker themselves a lot of the time, or busy with other work or with their personal lives, which is why free content is appealing as you can dip in and out of it when you want to and when you have time.
This right here.

Who has time to watch the limited original content, and can also afford it? I honestly can't believe they think they have enough to charge people for it. Especially when the majority of people who fall into this tiny group already know how ****ty Poker Central is. Whole site is often down, sound rarely works on the app, search function is practically useless, it doesn't save your place in videos(when u could be watching a 6 hour session and it has to buffer all over again each time you open it to get to the video).

And that's just what I know from trying to watch a couple of the Aria Cash games. I would put them at about 6-1 dogs to actually improve on the WSOP live stream experience.

Quality was fine for me, but jeez what a snoozefest. You can't do anything about the play. But the cast. The commentators are so dull and monotone. Kara Scott and the guy sitting next to her don't bring much excitement to the table neither. Guy doesnt even look like he wants to be there.

Love or hate DNegs, Hellmuth, Esfandiari, Laak and co. But they make for better television. At least bring some action and recs love them. They might be less insightful about the game, but its not like the current commentators have been a threat.

Norman Chad is GOAT obv even that dude who used to do EPT Live had his moments. This is the absolute nutworst. Must be some better people to find. Polk, Galfond even?

EDIT: And yeah let them show their holecards ffs or throw them out of the tourney wtf is this.

If you think this is the nutworst just wait until you have to listen to Lon Mceachern broadcast a live poker event.

Really? So much complaining? I thought the play was top quality. I thought the shot clock assisted tremendously in making a live broadcast somewhat bearable. The stream was near 100% perfect with decent graphics. Even not knowing the hole cards at times brought a bit of intrigue to the hands.

IMHO Schulman is an incredible poker commentator. A live broadcast has to be extremely tough. His analysis is great, his wit is sharp and his voice is very tolerable.

Overall, for an initial launch of a product, I consider this damn near a home run.

This. Listening to Schulman's thought process is well worth the $10 a month IMO. Quality of the production is great, have had no issues other than the top of the hour freezes, which are annoying but easily fixed by a refresh. Also, laptop > Chromecast works fine, so not sure why people are saying Chromecast doesn't work.

What's with the 3 day gaps in coverage for the WSOP? It's pretty weak to have nothing for the 11th-13th.

Also does anyone know if they're getting Tuchman to do commentary, or someone else?

I heard Tuchman, Somerville, and Gross all mention on their Twitch streams that they would be involved in some commentary, but it's all been pretty vague. Negreanu and Kurganov are chip leaders of the 10K Team event tonight, I miss the WSOP.com streams already.

PokerGo is a good service, although it's very bad customer service to not have an option to cancel your subscription directly on the website.

The tourney was ok, play was hella nitty and extremely weak-tight, I was shocked honestly. Seems no surprise now that someone at the top of the game like Fedor can go on a huge winning streak if the play in this tourney is representative of other high-rollers.
