Hello everyone. I'd like to update a place to play poker in Bangkok and give you guys some useful info for grinding here.

1.Law
- Poker room and Casino in Bangkok are illegal but a penalty is very low. (Fined 20USD and get warning). By the way, most poker room here have a protection from cops. The last raid was happened many years ago.

2.Rake and expenses
- Rake here is usually 5% and capped at 5BB. Food and hotel are cheap. Nightlife party is also cheap unless you go to a special one.

3.Recommended place
3.1 White House Poker Club Bangkok
- They have a very good place. Good safety. They are like a home game for rich men but also welcome a tourist. Game is NLH 2/4 USD , PLO 2/4 USD , and PLO 30/60/90 USD
***They are looking for a house player. You may stay long and expect to have a plenty of games to play

3.2 Gutshot poker room
- They run for years. Their standard game is NLH 0.5/1 USD which is good for budget player.

3.3 Sunny Casino Bangkok
- You have to play poker in an underground casino but it is safe enough. Game is NLH and PLO 3/6 USD. Good point to play here is that they have casino games for you or your followers.

I want to have more Poker players in my city that's why I'm here. Hope to see you guys. I can bring you guys to travel in Bangkok. Gasoline is on you hehe.

Are these games beatable? 5% rake seems low, but 5BB cap seems high at least compare to where I play.

Any live games still running in bangkok? And whats the rake situation if they are running

Just joined this board after finding it on Google. I'm also curious if there's any good live games happening in BKK at the moment? Only here for a few more days, but I travel often, so will probably be back again next month.
