I finished watching the second episode today. This has been pretty entertaining so far. As I said after the first episode, the personalities are key. The needling from Antonio and the neurotic weirdness of Hellmuth combine to add a lot of entertainment value beyond the poker itself. Take that away and the show would suffer. This would not be super entertaining with two silent GTO robots clashing, although it would provide more opportunity for Ali and Nick to riff.

The 72 vs. 87 hand was big, but I think it was really the 99 vs. J8 hand that Antonio should look back on with regret. There were very few credible bluffs on the board and I just think Phil is going to have it there a lot of the time, so even getting a good price, Antonio probably has to find a fold. I'm confident that if you had flipped the hands and stacks, Phil would've laid down the 99.
I wish I knew when to expect the next round. How is it that they just randomly decide and that’s when they play. Even if it’s a month later it would be good to have a date.
has there been any discussion as to when another of this format will take place? i found this much more entertaining than watching these online head up battles
