I guess it was all a wasted effort for Weezy and the Wayne to be nice in the hopes you'll run it twice.

No one going to talk about Armenian 'The Nit Donkey" Mike calling Chris a c-sucker last night?

Those Armenians are a fun-loving lot..Harry and Mike. When they aren't slow-playing each other they are angle-shooting and calling others at the table c-suckers, after they spew off their own chips.

But heck it's good for rating, so I guess the Bike doesn't care about integrity and fair play..

LATB is dead to me until I hear that the staff find their balls and do something about this behaviour.

But guys, he's a "Fan favorite". I'll tune in to watch him tank fold the 86o, limp call 100% of his range and eat 4 meals in 4 hours.

Sometimes off stream he'll raise a lot they say...

Who cares if he's seemingly terrible for the game, checks it down with 3/9th of the table, calls the dealers used condoms and C-Suckers

The Armenian/Georgian players so blatantly soft-play each other, it is ridiculous. No matter what their holdings might be.

I'm sure Wayne Chiang doesn't want to talk bad about the Bike, but a few words on these issues from a commentator/player would be appreciated..

I mean, it goes on everywhere. My point is it makes for a bad viewer experience and looks bad-ish.

When you play live you see friends and people who play a lot together basically say what they have, make folds they otherwise wouldn't make, etc.

Which makes it bat**** crazy to charge people $199/year. Archives or not.

My opinions on poker are solely my own and not reflective of the Bicycle Casino or Live at the Bike.

Though it was mostly Ryan Feldman, the running it twice was discussed on Live at the Bike "Around the Felt" episode on May 1, 2018 in the archives.

Poker etiquette wise, any time the person wants to run the lesser amount, it always supersedes the larger amount(once versus twice). In this case, Harry wanted to run it once, before seeing the turn card(he absolutely did NOT see the turn card before reducing it to running it once), he is allowed to do so at any time. It was because it was so close in timing that there was an issue.

I've been in several cases where it was agreed to run it twice then it was later reduced to once. I get no say in it. No problems.

Because this one was so close in timing and the run out was so fast, this caused issues.

As for soft playing, yes, it is bad for the game, but unavoidable with some people. Is it soft collusion? Yes. Is it really that harmful? No. There aren't many cases where this will have such a drastic effect on the game. In a hand between husband and wife or 2 good friends, there's bound to be some camaraderie. Protect yourself and be careful when you enter hands with them. Be more selective with hands that involve husband and wife or friends for wanting to play at the same poker table with each other. They will see each other for life. You will see them at the poker table a few times in your life.

Just protect yourself and know the etiquette.

It's more bat**** crazy to pay $4 for a cup of coffee or $5 for bottled water at a club.

On the scale of bat**** crazy, I don't think that it's that crazy for $199/year where someone who loves poker gets access to the largest archive of legitimate nitty and gritty live cash game poker, with actual poker grinders that play for a living(the regular commentators should be legit, some guest commentators... not so much, take what they say with a grain of salt, especially ones who never played on the show.).

Live at the Bike is meant to like the reality TV of real poker. Other poker shows have cameras circling around you. On Live at the Bike, you can easily forget you're even on camera(which is a good thing as it gets more real). Personally, I would like to see every hand be cut throat or entertaining as hell, but that's not reality and that's the whole point of the show -- how things really pan out and how to deal with them. Sometimes the table is all pros, sometimes no pros.

I pay 19.99 a month happily for LiveattheBike as I don't have a TV or cable and I think it's worth it. Love Wayne and love the TU, TH, Friday games.

You would think with the delay they could bleep some of the inappropriate language. Which may or not may not be vugarities.

I respect you Wayne but I disagree with the legitimacy of most of your games, especially in the last year or so. The amount of soft play and behaviour that would get you tossed out of every other casino in the world is just outrageous.

Oh and you’d do yourself a service moving forward by allowing players not from LA into the game once in a while and not just ignoring everyone other than your precious regulars.

I think it’s nuts in 2018 when there is so much free content out there that LATB thinks that games from 10 years ago still justify a $199/year price. That’s just crazy to me.

Appreciate it. We realize it's not for everyone, and are just happy that some people love the niche that we are in!

I actually have nothing to do with the line ups or the pricing. Just as part of the product, I support it and give rationales when I can.

I'm not going to defend the softplay is good by any means, just saying that especially in big bet games, it's very hard to control the play between 2 people who have a real live relationship outside of the casino. The best that can be done is that they are open about being friends, and learn how to best deal with it if you're the 3rd person in the hand. Especially, if they've been on the show for a decade, they are not going to be not allowed to play with each other.

Appreciate the viewership and vote though!

I don't mind that in the player introductions that it is said who is good friends with who and they soft play each other. I'll bring it up to Ryan Feldman.

His last hand btw wasn't bad river shove imo, thoughts?

If you show up to the Bike and punt a few stacks in the biggest running NLHE game while VPIPing 70, i bet you could score a LATB invite.
