Went on my first session of latb yesterday and it was fun. Thanks to Ryan for the invitation. Although turn out yesterday was pretty poor and that the game was a little dry, the new room seemed really nice and the whole experience was worth the hour drive. Just a couple of hand highlights....

6 handed, folds to me in BB and I raise to 70 with 99. Mr clean re raises from the straddle to 240. Factoring position, calling seemed awkward and folding seemed a little too nitty. I decided to almost min raise him to 520 because any larger of a bet and I will commit myself to the pot. I felt he was pretty nutted and this being my first live recording, didn't really want to have to rebuy so early into the game. He shoves all in and I fold with 900 left. He showed AQ of clubs I think. I thought AK was bot of his range and that I was not getting the 30-32% equity needed to call. Obv if I knew he shoves AQ AJ there, I'd have made the call. Not sure if I should have just raised bigger so that I can't get exploited with no fold equity.

Another hand was I had KQ on the BB I think. Mark was on the CO and raised to 80 or 100 I think. Due to where Mark was sitting and being a very good player, he saw that I often didn't defend my blinds and my button so he often raised me light when I was in those positions. I thought ryan picked that up and hence his reraise to 200 something on the button. I 3bet the kq ofp looking for folds and was surprised that Ryan mentioned he folded AK to me later in the booth. Lol

Last hand was probably the biggest pot of the night. Picked up KK utg and raised to 65 with straddle on. Mark raises to 200 on the button and ryan cold calls. What a dream scenario. I repop to 575, mark folds and ryan calls. Flop was 962 or 963 with two clubs. Ryan checks, I bet 700 and Ryan shoves. I call with 1800 behind. Runs twice and we chop. I had the k of clubs so he didn't have ak of clubs. Obv I hoped he jammed JJ or QQ there instead of a combo draw or in worst case scenario 99. Ryan mentioned on the show afterwards that he thought I had ak or aq due to the two previous hands. I am not folding ak here and personally I don't think I can have aq. I might call or fold with aq to the cold call of 200 instead of raising to play for stacks this deep.

Anyways, felt alright overall with the session. I don't really play live and there were many things I had to get used to. Felt that I was a dog to over half of the field with ryan, mark and joey being particularly good live players. Didn't put myself into too many difficult situations as I didn't defend to raises on my button or blinds and didn't go for thin value on marginal hands. Went for the experience and although down a little in the end, felt pretty rewarded with the whole thing.

Just had time to rewatch the stream. lol wrong on the second hand. Got confused with the hand where Mark had aa on the button. But my general perception of that hand was the same....flatted your 4bet from sb because I thought you were squeezing.

The hand you were talking about in the booth was the one which you opened to 55 from utg+1 and I raised to 155 from co with kq. Bricked the flop and you check folded ak. Ya, that was a little spewy.

CalKid, nice meeting you. I thought you played well. Any time you want to come back, let me know. Sorry that you happened to pick the worst day/game to play randomly. Not sure why exactly it was so dead that day, and why 4 people were no-shows. It's usually not like that.

Who invited Kassouf? Bad for poker, IMO.

Still don't get why views seem to be the metric that you hold on to. If it doesn't translate into SUBSCRIBERS then who gives a crap who you have on LATB?

Kassouf has yet to figure out that there's a very fine line between being entertaining and the people at the table who just want to play more than 10 hands an hour when he's there. Like I said before, he makes poker unwatchable. I literally fell asleep during the slow roll hand because it took SO ****ING LONG for him to roll over quads.

People watch these streams to watch hands get played. Not some doofus ramble for 2 minutes every hand before he folds 94off.

Seems like for every good decision that LATB makes like having Antonio or Phil on the stream, they make a Hashtag King decision that sets them back.

Hey all been watching these latb clips on youtube quite a bit and have few questions.

1. Who is the best player that plays on it regularly? There are 2 guys that seem to always play on it and its Andy and Brian? Also theres that guy Garrett as well that i notice been on this show quite a bit.

2. Are these guys playing 100 percent with their entire money? I assume yes if its up to say 10/20 with those guys but anything higher probably not? Like when they play 25/50 or 50/100 or 100/200? That guy Andy seems to be like a boss when he plays these stakes. I assume someone like him probably is one of the bigger winners along with that guy Garrett who read on this forum is something called gman or something like that?

So... Does Harry ever come in the next day and apologize for being a massive tool?
He spent most of the show talking about how awful the Bike is, berating/blaming all the dealers, ripped up 2 RFID decks, cried about the service, cried about how good people ran vs his 4th pair, etc.

It was super awkward when he was going on and on with the male glasses dealer.

I also don't want to make this a live vs online debate. But does anyone know if any of those LATB regs play online? For example, does that Andy play online? And if so, does anyone think he would hold his own playing say up to 2/4nl 6 max etc?

Also those guys like Harry and Armenian Mike and Q2 guy, what do these guys do for a living? Are all these guys businessmen and if so are they pretty wealthy? I can't imagine any of these guys are poker pros etc.

Harry is the typical well off/wealthy type that gets a boner being rude to working class people. Goes out of his way to belittle and talk down to dealers and undoubtedly all service people. Seeing people like him get raped at the tables is a passion of mine..

His weird bi-polar persona was strange.
-Lame Kevin Hart impersonation
-Angry raking in chips, "I'm the GOAT, CALL ME CALL ME" *Mean mugging*
-Back into Kevin Hart and singing
-Back into "badass" mean mugging, STOP BETTING AT MEEEE!

Runs like god, and check calls his way to pots.

I only got through like 2 hours, I hope he got coolered

LOL at this Youtube/Twitch guy(?) buying into a $5/$5 ante game for $50,000.
Someone had like $7,000 but I'd guess the avg stack size was $2,500

Seems quite a bit toolish. Gonna buy in $10,000 at a $3/$6 limit game tomorrow.

Why is Wed's show "Poker Fraud" did something occur? Don't wanna watch whole show
