Well, it's more like people are commenting on statements I'm saying like it's "fake news" or "not true", when it's an encouragement of participation.

Already in this thread, Ryan Feldman and I are stating that our words are being twisted or exaggerated.

We would ask you to be fair. Ryan Feldman is open about making entertaining line ups. I am encouraging people to participate. That's all.

Yeah it's all good man. I just think you guys need to be upfront about the process now. It's not like when Lizette and others were running it in the past. Before you could be a traveling business man / rec player that happened to be in L.A. for a few days and you could get on the show no problem as long as you planned it a little bit and reached out early to secure your spot.

It's different now and I think everyone is okay with it being that way because it makes the show better. Saying that anyone can be on the show isn't really true anymore. You need to be a subscriber at the bare minimum but beyond that you need to have an active presence in the poker community(vlogging, social media, etc) or already be kind of grandfathered in as a LATB regular/legend. So with that being the reality saying "anyone can get on the show guys" isn't really true. Like I said I think you guys are doing a great job and I'm 100% cool about the lineup selection process just be honest about it, that's all.

I'll address that next time I'm commentating on the show to be clear of the criteria to get on, but at the same time, you can be waitlisted and if an open seat comes up, you can come in. Also just because you can't fit in the next couple of months, as a subscriber or viewer you can request some time in the future. You do see new faces on the show all the time who don't have the claimed poker fame or social media presence that is so claimed to be the gatekeeper.

Ryan has explained that not just anyone can get a seat and the reasons how/why he sets lineups, and I am 100% ok with his explanation.

I’m done talking about it.

I don’t really like commenting on randoms that aren’t professionals, but it like blew my mind tonight that the DJ guy doing commentary didn’t know the simple 4x and 2x flop/turn math when doing outs. And he plays like 10/20/40 NL on stream

For play - Andy & Gman

Wayne, also thanks for posting the Jamie Gold interview on Youtube. Missed that and it was pretty interesting.

Much respect to Nick for hopping in this game, and talking about his thought process on the Berkey $45K bluff.

I would be interested to know Nick's thought process for buying in super deep in the 5/5 game, as opposed to buying in with an average or short stack.

He thought he had an edge so he wanted to cover some stacks.

High chance Garret Adelstein will be in the mix.

Garrett or we riot.

I see the January calendar has switched back to 25/50/100 Fridays now. Is that a real thing?
I know sometimes it’s not 100% accurate, like this 25K min show is scheduled as a 10/20

Edit - The 1-4 10/20 has the 25K min listed... But I assume it’s no longer 10/20?

Jan 4 is 10/20 with 20k buyin. It's a 10-hour show. We wanted to do a super deep game with some of the guys who play Tuesdays/Thursdays.

After that week, it's back to high stakes Fridays. We list 25/50/100 on the calendar but it can change each week. If we have the right group of players who want to play 100/200, then we'll play 100/200 that week.

Either way, Fridays are going to be super fun going forward. High stakes, lots of money on the table, a combination of your favorite local players and some names that will play here and there.

Liveatthebike alum NYPokerking is up to his old tricks (see thread in NVG).

Before his last appearance I reached out to Ryan via Twitter to bring to his attention the shadiness of this character, unfortunately I was dismissed as a 'hater.'

Hopefully Live At The Bike rethinks their relationship with this scumbag. Giving him a platform for free publicity allows him to con others. He should be shunned not embraced by the show.

Thanks.

Not sure Ryan cares. See Alec Torelli and Hashtag King

I'm strongly against the 1000bb starting stack games. It's just way too deep to get any good action. People aren't going to be raising or stacking off often at all this deep in NLH, and I predict the game will be pretty tight. With a 20K buyin, game should be at least 50/100 IMO.

Berkey, who played in the million dollar show, talks about this in his recent podcast w/ Joe Ingram

I would be interested in seeing a 50/100 PLO game though, w/ $5K min starting stacks, which I suspect would easily get to 500bb deep at some point in the night and be highly entertaining.

Definitely watch the Friday shows. Most of the 25/50+ games have great players, high level play, and serious analytical commentary.

We haven’t had him on the show in over a year I believe (maybe he was on once in early 2018 but I think Oct 2017 may be the last appearance). We decided a long time ago to never have him on again. We’ve never really had “a relationship” with him.

Upon searching for that Jamie Gold interview I stumbled upon LATB merchandise... Is that stuff for real/official? Gotta be some of the worst looking clothing I ever encountered, complete with the most cringe-inducing one liners. But hey, I guess if people are buying, it's cool. Who wouldn't wanna shell out 60 bucks for this beauty?
